There is nothing in this game that is fun to do for more than a week. It is the same thing, over and over again. You lock ALL the cool stuff behind insanely hard challenges and rng. You force us to play YOU want us too, not the way WE want to. Can’t use your favorite guns, you need champion mods. Can’t play the subclass you want, cause it isn’t useful in raids and dungeons.
You make it easy for streamers to stomp players in crucible, and impossible for average players to even TRY and get better. You promise “oh, we’re doing something REAL big and new” and then you backtrack and say “well, we didn’t want to overdeliver”.
The only fun aspect of this game, is making friends. But since this game has gotten so stale, to the point that the numbers are the lowest they have ever been, there’s no one on who wants to be friends.
And even if you find someone to play with, you’ve made this game so frustrating that no one is thinking about “oh I like this person, I want to play with them again” because they’re too busy trying to beat your impossibly stupid mechanics.
I’ll play the next season, and see how it is, but if it doesn’t fill me with confidence, then why should I even CONSIDER buying Final Shape?
And one more thing, stop locking the best looking gear behind a paywall…
You're huffing copium if you think anything coming in the next year will be anything but subpar. Save your money and read a book.

Edited by Better Call Ghaul: 11/22/2023 8:32:00 AMThis. How people don't see this is beyond me. They've never actually delivered once, sure ttk was decent, forsaken was too, but half of forsaken & most of the following year was Activision studios, bungie gave us the gambit update season. Destiny is funding marathon & they just needed to string it along to year 10. Suddenly saying it's forsaken like, is literally desperation to get fools to buy in one more time. They're incapable, just like they always have been. Selling the company to Sony was Pete parsons greatest ever achievement, at least they tried under Activision, now they've no incentive, just like the playerbase.
