So like many i want to get seasonal challenges completed so i thought id try trials 1st game got put up against flaeless team with 4+ kd when mine is barely 1 WHY ??? Trials is beyond a joke now as much as i want the weapons and the exiles set next season unless something substantial is done im just going to boycott it and i hope others do too bungie needs to change this drastically asap top pvp are now in the minority its time to let the majority have fun crucible is the same fix competitive so that other players can actually have fun the xp gain is a joke too

5 RepliesIf enough of us ask for sbmm they will add it eventually… yes the streamers and win resetters will cry but the vast majority will have a much better time

3 RepliesYour first game was against a 0.90 KD 1.12 KD 0.84 KD

Trials isn’t an ultra competitive game mode despite what trials players say. Trials has a lot of issues that the trials players don’t want to admit
-
Trials are basically like playing the lottery as you can be matched with/against stacks, solo, high k/d , low k/d , flawless, etc etc … No actual structure to guarantee any level of difficulty
-
You’re a 0.4 no where near a 1.0 I doubt the people you were playing against are 4.0s either. Its not that bad but trials is rough to new players
-
Then use Jotuun or Witherhoard, these rule PvP.

It’s not often you run into someone in the top 10% of crucible. You’re matching the other 90% more often

1 ReplyEdited by THE GRIND IS REAL: 1/29/2023 2:25:43 PMI'd love to see sbmm implemented and a 1on 1 playlist so we can see really see which one player is the best at pvp at destiny and who doesnt crutch behind team mates for clean ups or swap outs

Edited by hate n payne: 1/29/2023 2:16:29 PMTrials and Comp are both modes where skill and balance is truthfully irrelevant for the health of the game and it is best for you to simply get your loot and leave. Competitive modes do not belong in this game. Trials only worked in D1 because the game was way more balanced in terms of ability spam and gunplay. D2 is too casual for competitiveness and Bungie and players collectively need to understand that. D2’s sense of competitiveness is designed around diversity which Bungie continues to dodge in terms of balance and skill ceiling. You basically got casual developers trying to make competitive decisions when the community should be flying out to Bungie like the old days and helping with the balancing. The game needs to go back to using Combined Arms and Iron Banner as the center points for PVP and leave the competitive scene to a more time specific event or alone PERIOD.

Always has been

Do you know how the playlist was designed? Your performance is at fault not the game.
-
another I can't compete so the game must be at fault post.
