Warframe has a fov and on ps4. Can’t see why they couldn’t on destiny 2. Doesn’t bother me either way, I have a ps5 anyway. Just would be nice for previous gen to experience it as well

Edited by SolarCerberuS: 12/18/2022 11:38:18 PMDestiny is more hardware intensive so while a FOV slider may be fine in other games the frame rate in D2 would likely tank due to the extra visual rendering that an adjustable FOV allows. D2 has differences to many other fps game being particle physics and visualisation from various abilities and weapons alone being one of them. Same reasoning for having limitations on player count when compared to other FPS titles say the likes of COD or Battlefield. Destiny is far more hardware intensive than those. Be thankful the game is continuing to be developed on older gen consoles, the newer ones and PC can handle much more so effectively the game is throttled by previous gen to keep the game on them.
