How many of you have donated to anything regarding men's issues? Majority of you only get triggered about this because the LGBTQ community got an emblem. I'm actually surprised no one's crying for an emblem for white people.

1 ReplyMy uncle has been battling prostate cancer for a while. It's a terrible indiscriminate sickness that threaten 50% of the population. Many sons and fathers are lost to this awful cancer. More awareness is needed.

It doesn't give highlights as the other causes they "fight for", so the best you'll get is a "It has nothing to do with Destiny" (as if the other "causes" have) and a thread locked. Probably a ban as well, since they are such dumbf*cks.

5 RepliesEdited by Kd: 11/23/2022 1:12:53 AMI’ve been very surprised by Bungie’s response here, particularly the deleted mod response that read exactly how I’d expect an actual bigot to respond to any other of the many issues Bungie supports that also aren’t necessarily Destiny related. Very strange. I’d have appreciated a more thoughtful response than what that mod put up. I’d have preferred something like taking the week to respond etc. I could literally whip up a moustache emblem in 3 seconds, but at the very least a tactful response saying it’s not one of the issues they wish to use their platform for at this time while airing some light on the issue in an official response. I’m definitely not one to push social issues in games but that one response (which they also linked to in every other locked thread as THE response) was enough to actually second thought the companies stance. Bungie, I think you need to address this formally in next weeks TWAB. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

Wow, pretty crazy in the posts. Listen men, let's take our health seriously! Maybe an emblem would help raise awareness, but that's not going to happen. I want to urge us to come together and spread awareness to each other. 😉👍 This maybe over sharing but if it helps anyone it will be worth it. Lately, I've been finding blood in my poop from time to time. Now I ignored it at first, but it's been happening more frequently. Reading all these posts about men's health has really made me realize that I'm getting older and need to take my health more seriously. I probably would have kept ignoring it, thinking 'no big deal' but it's time to take action, and I want to thank whoever brought this up, because it gave me the motivation I needed to not, 'suck it up' and ignore it, but do something. I've made an appointment to see my doctor next Monday and will be scheduling a colonoscopy then. I hope it's nothing, we'll see. If you have any issues, any issues at all health wise, get to a doctor! I should have done this months ago but was just too stubborn/didn't take it seriously. Please, any health concerns, take this as your sign to do something about it right now! I know I did. Peace n Love Scratch.
