It can be fun, but fun is largely dependent on how many revenant hunters there are on the opposing team sealing off large chunks of the map at a time. Also, camping in a well is kinda annoying.

Want more chaotic mayhem...Mayhem Rift. Especially in those spawn trapping maps such as Bannerfall. XD

1 ReplyIt was fun in D1, but there is just something in D2 that makes it boring , maybe too many shutdown supers that counter yours, so you end up using guns anyway I motion that Tether and Supresser grenades be banned from Mayhem

3 RepliesOnly enjoy mayhem on a hunter using middle tree arc staff and raijus harness. Why fight when everyone else kills them selves. Only have to watch out for burning mauls, chaos reach or smart players with nova bomb.

I enjoy it. I enjoy pvp but mayhem his a great place to just chill and not get all sweaty.

I totally agree. And we had mayhem in the Nightfalls in Original Destiny it was called Daybreak. So much fun, addictive gameplay that really allow you to experiment with your subclass, load out and exotic gear and weapons much more than standard Nightfall. Imagine the poor overload champions with spamming overload grenades!

1 ReplyIt's honestly a tie between Momentum for actual gun fights and Mayhem for [b][i](DOOM SOUNTRACK INTENSIFIES)[/i][/b]. On average, I [i]prefer[/i] Momentum, but post-Stasis OP Mayhem isn't a bad way to spend an afternoon.

It's the best game mode to just relax and mess around in. At least, until you run into Shadebinders who just spam Stasis Turrets. Those people probably kick puppies in their spare time.

3 RepliesPerhaps an unpopular opinion, but i wish 1-and-done supers like Nova Bomb weren't allowed. Idk i always feel like they just kill the mood. Otherwise yes, love mayhem. It and momentum control. Ironic that the two modes that choose to throw any semblance of balance out the window are the most fun lol

It's where regular players go to have FUN. Omg a concept the pvp players have lost in this game. It would be like me making the argument that all pve content should be grandmaster nf difficulty. Sound stupid? Yeah, thought so.

I don't even use my super, I'm finally able to just let loose with my peregrine greaves and wreck shop. If you pop your super and manage to miss a nova, 4 golden gun shots, or a shield/hammer throw as a charge at you in a straight line you shouldn't have it.
