Dawning Ingredients drops are too low?
In an entire run of DoE I got just a single ingredient drop, one ether cane and nothing else. For the amount of enemies it seems quite weird. I went jn solo into the GoA dungeon and it took me a solid while to get a single drop of null taste. Does anyone else feel like the ingredient drops are bugged or nerfed?

Get yourself the Gnawing Hunger or some good auto rifle and go to town in The Blind Well or Altars of Sorrow. You’ll get your ingredients.

You only need a few of each to finish the triumphs. After that just bake for Zavala. You never run out of his stuff.

I would actually like more essence of dawning. I could make like 100 dark choco motes but it takes forever to farm up dawning essences. Thank God I got the God roll Glacio early

All their limited events are like this. They can't even make a damn event fun and rewarding. Why does every other game makes events, fill em with rewards and easy to obtain, but In Destiny you have to go above and beyond just to get a few things done. Let the ingredients drop within 1-2 kills plain and simple, and for the love of God buff the damn DoE xp abit. The damn bounties don't even reward xp towards it?

That's because of all the youtubers making videos on how to Farm a crazy amount in very little time. Bungie probably put a stop to that stuff by throttling the drop rates.

They do indeed feel nerfed. Last time it was Dawning it was poppin out mats like hot cakes.

5 RepliesDon’t forget to equip the ship from a few seasons ago!! You’ll earn dawning essence almost every time you earn an ingredient. Makes it way faster to earn essence.

6 RepliesI think they are very uneven. I think the drop rates are disastrously low in 30th Anniversary content. I ran two of them yesterday with COMPLETE void loadouts (Void subclass, and two void weapons)...and couldn't get a single Null Taste to drop. But then I went to the Moon....did one complete run through Altars of Sorrow with that same loadout...and got four of them to drop. Something tells me that Bungie is trying to steer us into certain activities by manipulating those drop rates.

Null Taste … Shuro Chi CP, fire top tree tether in the door, fire Bad Omens / Royal Entry. You will get Null Taste quickly.

Between getting two ingredients per dawning bounty and my extra drops from the ship, Essence is the only thing I ever need

Don't worry guys they're going to nerf the essence farm so don't bother farming this event

It doesn't help that after grinding out some essence of dawning you go 7 or 8 turn ins without a gift in return.

They also changed the cookie bounties, you don’t have to deliver them for the bounty to complete just bake it. Unless I’m misremembering. 🤔
