What’s your guys’ favorite Halo game?

Mine is Reach. Always has been. Also the first Halo campaign that I played.

Reach... by a landslide. Grew up playing Reach on the 360 with my sisters, and it was awesome. Played some custom games with my brother yesterday and we made a mode called Minneapolis... it's perfect. Everything was normal except for a few things: 200% weapon damage (Magnums and Shotguns, no pickups) 300% melee damage No health regen 10% shield regen Play it on Boardwalk and you will be [b]a d d i c t e d[/b]

Tough to choose between 2 and 3, though I’ll have to give the nod to 3.

Halo 3. Halo 2 is a [b]very[/b] close second though.

1 ReplyHalo 3. It was just the right blend of things. Other titles may have had some better features here and there, but as overall balance I enjoyed halo3 the most. My friend and I completed halo 3, halo3 ODST and reach on LASO. We are preparing for halo 4, then halo CE and finally halo 2

1 ReplyThat one’s difficult. Gunplay and Vehicles is definitely Halo 4. Idk, they just [i]feel[/i] good, and that I can actually hit something. Also Mantis. I am a sucker for mechs. Story/Campaign? Extremely difficult. 4 was good, but 2 has the remastered cutscenes that put all of them to shame, as well as the best Johnson quotes. Customization has got to be Reach. Although MCC is giving Halo 3 a lot of love in this respect. I’m sorry for all of the Bungie-Era Halo fans, but I really like halo 4. Maybe it’s because I’m reliant on modern shooting mechanics (especially hit markers), but if I had to say I think Reach might be my next favorite.

I've never played it. The universe lore is awesome though. I enjoy the classic UNSC/Covenant war the most, so probably Reach. [spoiler]Sorry, all out of salt.[/spoiler]

Reach by far. I like it’s art, guns, and I grew up on it. Halo 5 is an atrocity except for the Forge, you really have the ability to make things.

Definitely Reach and Halo 3, but (and please don’t put me on the meat rack for this) Halo 4 was my guilty pleasure growing up. Me and my friends had a [i]lot[/i] of fun on it. Definitely doesn’t hold a candle to the other two, campaign and multiplayer-wise, but pretty much everything in gaming is better with other friends.

I would say it's a tie between Halo 2 and Halo Reach. I've put way too many hours into each, especially Halo 2, growing up when that came out. That was the best. People gave Reach a bad rap, but when it was initially out it was great and still is. Cheers to Infinite!

Every iteration I’ve played online has been a lot of fun, especially once you get into custom game lobbies that have fun games and/or chill people playing. My friends and I were always penduluming between Queuing up tryhard clan scrims and C4ing each other in Coldsnap CTF and it was just way too much fun lol

Reach, since it was the last proper Halo game and the one I played the most of. 3 was fun, but I never really got that into it. Love ODST as a standalone game and it's a great story in the franchise. No real opinion on 2, and CE is what started it all. Sure, it's a bit dated, but it's still a great game. And it has the CE Magnum. You literally cannot go wrong with the CE Magnum.
