Why is Dead Cliffs still a thing?
Dead Cliffs is literally the worst 6v6 crucible map. Like it’s fantastic for 3v3, but it’s horrible in quick play. Whichever team gets trapped in the A zone spawn literally just gets rolled to a mercy. Every. Single. Game. Seriously, take this crap out of quick play and put something good in it’s place. Like The Citadel.

Same issue that Anomaly, Exodus Blue, Cauldron, and nearly every map in general has; the maps are too damn small for 6v6. Some of the aforementioned maps are arguably too small for 4v4 too. Bungie needs to either make larger maps or decrease the overall teamsize. There's no excuse for it.

The reason people get spawn trapped is for 1 reason only. Player spawns in player stays in spawn and camps spawn like a god like sniper that can never hit a shot lol. These people are the reason you get spawn trapped don't belive me wait till next game it happens and see. A good team will rotate and push.
