Bungie, I know this probably won’t even be read by any of your employees, let alone implemented, but please just include our seasonal legendary armor pieces as universal ornaments to other legendary armor. I’m not sure if anyone else will agree, and I understand the concept of grinding for a good roll on a piece of armor that you really like the looks of, but what about armor that 1) does not have any way to reliably farm for it, or 2) is being sunset and becoming irrelevant shortly. Honestly, sun setting armor makes absolutely no sense to me; I cannot see any sensible reason to make such armor irrelevant to the majority of the game. However, I know that sun setting is coming whether we like it or not... I just hate that now I have specific armor pieces (the substitutional alloy armor sets- not the seasonal universal ornaments, just the regular armor) that I truly love the aesthetics of, but I have no reason to continue using or seeking them, nor to invest any more materials into them. It’s so difficult to find armor that actually looks good and find shaders that compliment it well while also getting desired rolls on it. I just wish we could grind for armor with solid rolls on it, then choose how we really want those armor pieces to look so that we don’t keep having to choose between looks or good stats (and I believe I am safe to say, at least for anyone who agrees with what I just said, that most of us don’t have time to grind for aesthetically pleasing armor that also has good stats). I know that much of this is subject to personal opinions and individual aesthetic tastes, and I know there will be some people who simply don’t care about the appearance of their Guardians- and that’s fine. I’m just voicing my frustration on this matter in hopes that Bungie will hear it and *just maybe* consider doing something about it. Also, related to universal ornaments: Why on earth, when you unlock/purchase/redeem universal ornaments on one character (like a Hunter), does it not claim the corresponding universal ornament for ALL three characters (Hunter, Warlock, and Titan)?? There is no way that your system could not be set up to do this... Whenever an ornament is unlocked for any weapon, it’s available for any character on that account, regardless of their class. Why wouldn’t the same apply to armor ornaments? It’s so tedious having to switch characters to reclaim the same universal armor ornaments multiple times simply because they are different classes. Oh, and when I spend Bright Dust to purchase a universal armor ornament for my Hunter, why doesn’t it unlock the corresponding armor ornament for my other characters that are of different classes? This makes no sense to me, even less than the issue stated above in this post. If you took the time, thank you for sticking around and reading. Like I said before, I know some of this is just my opinion and others may not agree, but I wish Bungie would be more friendly to their casual player base and give us more options so we could enjoy the game more than we can with the current state of things.
