If Trials doesn’t return with exclusive armor and weapons it’s DOA
Let me rephrase, if trials comes back with no amazing looking armor and ornaments, no high stat armor drops, or no desirable weapons (looking at you iron banner) it’s going to be dead in a month.
I know these things seem pretty obvious but it feels like recently the basic rewards for activities has been seriously lacking in new activities.
Bungie has the potential to make this an amazing comeback for trials. Please bungie don’t let the pvp community down

They should bring in D1 Trials Armor, Glows and weapons 👍 They were outstanding.

You should really keep your expectations in check. D2 armor designs have been pretty terrible. They could also bring back the original Trials of Osiris armor sets, but people would likely complain. There likely won't be a better Hand Cannon than Spare Rations or a better Shotgun than Mindbender's Ambition. Players looking forward to Trials will likely be disappointed no matter what happens.

I don't really see how it will be much different than the competitive or elimination. Maybe it will have its own loot but realistically if they added new stuff to the crucible loot pool then that would be similar surely. I just don't see how it will do much for the PvP crowd.

1 ReplyImagine if it comes back as a seasonal activity only but gets removed at the end. Also, if the next season revolves around a lot crucible and trials, player population will decline even more.

I’ve got a good 90-10 feeling on it. With the current track record my bet that I’m almost certain to go all in on would be it’s going to be trials of the nine gear. The ten being traditional Egyptian themed gear from the good old days of trials. I’m hoping it’ll be the amazing sleek weapon designs (looking at the very last set of trials weapons), and that nice Anubis themed gear from the first ever trials.

2 RepliesHello, I am a destiny player who has been in the game since season 2 of destiny 1. First, Sorry for my English, but I belong to the Spanish community where Bungie apparently has no one to collect information And I think Bungie should rethink the whole theme of the seasons, the eveverse, the Osiris trials etc. First let's talk about strikes. Currently they are useless, I prefer to do nightfall at 980/950 to get materials, rather than start doing strikes that do not give anything. I remember all the time I spent playing strikes of destiny 1, trying to get the exclusive armor and weapons of those strikes and I remember playing how fun it was ... that's why Bungie must make the strikes useful again and stop being there as decoration to complete boring adventure steps. secondly I want to talk about the crucible; I am not a PvP fan player, but I play it a lot ... and I think it is time for you to put that destiny 1 mode, where you had to capture the ball and score on the rival field. in Spanish it was called (Grieta) mode ... besides they should put the Osiris trialls back on! with armor as beautiful as those of destiny 1. and not like the trials of the 9 thirdly I want to talk about the seasons As for the seasons. I think they are badly raised. There are many seasons, each of which has little content and they take up a lot of work. it would be much better to have 2 seasons with 6 months duration each and with a much more interesting amount of content, instead of being € 60 DLC they could be € 30 ... that have history, new armor, weapons, modes of game like menagerie etc and with the inclusion of exclusive weapons and armor in strikes in crucible etc you would have people much more entertaining and fun. Finally, let's talk about Eveverse. we have lost the seasonal engrams, we have lost the luminous dust that the objects gave when breaking them and all this was not supposed to happen ... Activision was supposed to force Bungie to have eveverse and to include a lot of content there ... but Now there are only you and most things are almost impossible to achieve ... making the 6 contracts that give lumino dust, I get 1200 per character, that is, a total of 3600 ... but then you go to eveverse and you find that A gesture is worth 4200 ... so where is the logic here? If in 1 week I can't buy what I want. and don't tell me even silver! I have paid each and every one of the DLCs. which does not seem fair to me! that now I have to spend more money on evevers

8 RepliesWithout Regional Dedicate Servers, the only ones that will be happy to see it added will be the IP Exploiters people whom promise Guaranteed LightHouse Carries on LFG for $$$. Destiny 2 with peer to peer networking is even worse than D1 would be. In D1, only the Console Host knew everyone's IP address - in D2 anyone in the Game can grab your IP Address. It will be a hackers paradise, especially given how lax Bungle is at banning cheaters on Console.

Edited by WormChi: 2/1/2020 11:52:17 PMThe weapons need to be on point for sure. Armor throughout the whole game needs to have better stats. Playlist activities (strikes, gambit, crucible) should all be able to drop up to 60 stats. Then leave the 60+ to endgame.

Its been endless months since they nixed Trials. So with all those months to work on it, of course they reskinned something. On the bright side they spent the rest of the time convincing themselves how great all of this is going to be 'IF' Trails really does come back next season.
