Well, some of you at least. You know who I’m talking about. You guys are taking what is supposed to be a role play and somehow are twisting it as if the person behind it is attacking an actual empire with actual people. Stop taking yourself so seriously and loosen up. I had several cool arcs I wanted to display (admittedly some of which required a bit of god modding to achieve), but now I’m not so sure any of you actually WANT to have any fun with role playing. Honestly it’s incredibly boring if you simply assume nobody can challenge you simply because of technological advancements or numbers. Before you accuse me of doing the exact same thing let me say that my character [i]was designed to lose[/i] in the end. But you never let me get to that part without harassing me OOC about it. And that’s the biggest problem with this rp community. People are afraid to lose so they create such powerful inter-dimensional armies and tech that nobody can possibly hope to beat them. That’s annoying and it’s a cheap counter to powerful villains. If you’re going to go into an rp with a “literal who”, and by that I mean you acknowledge them in the realm of the Offtopic RP lore, you shouldn’t pretend like you have a vastly superior force. I don’t even know how that could be fun unless you a DM (which is what I was attempting to be). If that wasn’t clear I’m sorry. But it still doesn’t excuse the fact that people were god modding from the start and then accusing ME for god modding back. In short: Congratulations, your hostility and lack of creativity ruined what could have been a great Offtopic RP arc. Bravo.
