Add Raid Matchmaking!!
Add Raid Matchmaking already!! Menagerie proves it can work. LFG is complete trash, Guided Games is complete trash etc. Raids need Matchmaking pronto. People who can’t get a Raid Group like myself via LFG, we would like the option to Matchmake our Raids. If we get trash people, so be it, if we get good people, again, so be it. Cause LFG does not work for many of us. We want to Raid but can’t cause people on LFG are completely toxic.

When I was trying to get my Heroic Menagerie flawless triumphs, I met this one guy that literally talked down and dumped on any poor soul who wasn't running Mountaintop and Swarm of the Raven. He lived and breathed the PvE YouTuber special meta. One guy joined with Acrius on because he was working on his catalyst, and said he would take it off for the boss. This wasn't good enough for the toxic PvE sweat, so he quit. We got the flawless triumph done shortly after without him. I unfortunately met a lot of people like that during that flawless triumph hunt. Can't really say I want them anywhere near a matchmaking environment.

I think I'm close to 300 raid completions and I stopped playing a year ago. About 250 of those were with people from LFG so it's not that bad.

The tools to raid are there you just choose not to use them, that's your problem no one else's.

23 RepliesThe menagerie is a dumb down raid that requires zero communication. Finding people using lfg isnt hard. I wish bungie would implement MM so I can read all the complaints after.

No menagerie does not prove that lol you literally can't fail in there. You get the encounters over and over if you need more to fill the bar. Probably the reason there is no matchmaking in heroic also the "mechanics" in menagerie are very mild they're barely a thing... Have you done the raids lol they are very mechanically heavy and require communication at times for some of them

it's too late. VoG & CE could have easily worked with MM. you didn't even need a mic to complete either. Bungie decided jumping was more challenging than combat, so they started leaning heavy on mechanics. the more they do this, the less the activity is engaged. VoG has a 20% completion percentage. LW is sitting at 2% completed. Matchmaking probably wouldn't work now because of the low player base.

Bungle has punted on adding in-game social features to Destiny and simply doesn’t care that their raid community isn’t just small but shrinking. Funny enough, them “embracing” bein’ an “MMO” and going “F2P” is gonna push this flaw to the forefront.

No, menagerie does not prove it can work Menagerie’s mechanics are based on some raid mechanics yes, but they have no fail state and require no communication. Raids require communication and have fail states. Guided games did work in year one a little better. I brought many people through guided games because there was a cool looking emblem for bringing people through. The new raids don’t have that, so there is no reason to be a guide anymore.

LFG is complete trash, yet I've used it to resounding success to clear Raids. I see newbie runs on XB1 LFG on the regular. Whats stopping you joining those?

Theres a billion reasons why it would never work. Your example of menagire doesnt work seeing as normal menagire literally has no way to fail Take a look at reckoning which has 1 boss mechanic and how often that fails then imagine something with far more
