I've played destiny since day 1 (that includes the beta) and destiny 2 since day one I've been playing your content since halo ce and I just wanna say what you guys are doing with the game moving forward is incredible I am honored to see where the game is going and very excited to be apart of it thank you for the effort and belief you put into your game its honestly becoming a lost art but you guys remain a beacon for hope for games as a whole (sorry for the terrible grammar just excited 😂)

Edited by Bang-Bang: 6/9/2019 1:17:31 PMI’ve got a few complaints and I’ll keep making them in case it might ever make a difference but for every Luke Smith there’s a Cozmo or a Deej and whatever my reservations I have always said that Bungie are masters of many facets of their art and that there is no one on earth doing it any better than they. In a hundred ways it’s a stunning game and a few younger folks are able to be unimpressed and hateful about it... ...so good on you for giving some praise where it’s due. You will obviously get some hateful comments yourself but just remember that your comment isn’t for those hateful folks and don’t worry about it. This is one of the few games that is going to weather the “games as a service” storm and gain more and more credibility as gamers mature and as we see more examples of huge studios failing the same challenges that Bungie has conquered and as huge AAA devs fail trying to create games of half the scope and complexity many of the younger gamers will come to realise the size and difficulty of the endeavour that Destiny is and how impressive it is that they’ve even kept it together during these times let alone flourished. Credit where it’s due.

Aww, well, the author did apologize for the grammar, and I think it's a rather sweet message. I can appreciate what Bungie is doing, and though I have some reservations about certain gaming mechanics, I value their product. Thanks as well, Bungie.

17 RepliesI'm a game developer myself, and while there is a lot that could be improved upon in destiny, you only have to look at the competition to understand how good Bungie actually are. They basically invented the action mmo with Destiny... And no one else has really come close. Division 2 and Anthem both have much bigger problems. I'm with you- Destiny is the best thing in gaming right now, and it has been pretty much ever since the first one came out.

I was a bit distasteful with the last Nerf TWAB but that stream gave me chills and hope. I'm looking forward to the next expansions and beyond. Stay positive and good post.
