BLACK ARMORY UPDATE!
Effective immediately, we’ve made some changes to the Power requirements for the Lost Forges of the Black Armory.
In [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4uK8ywYCdhI]previous conversations[/url] about the Season of the Forge, we discussed our new development goals. With the Annual Pass, we set out to deliver an extension to the Destiny 2 endgame. We want to create a series of aspirational challenges to keep your hobby fresh.
Over the past day, we’ve been taking in your feedback. It's become clear that we made the initial Power requirements for the Lost Forges too high, keeping those sweet new rewards out of reach. Some players at 600 Power have been unable to dive in and beat the final boss without grinding for new Power first.
We have just delivered a server-side update to reduce the Power requirements for all the encounters in the Lost Forges by five. We fully acknowledge that this is a small move, but it is the one that we can make today. This is not the full extent of the changes to the player experience that we are investigating, but it should give Guardians at 600 Power a better chance at completing the activity.
This response doesn’t answer all of your questions. There are still many of you asking how you can catch up and acquire the Power you need to join the quests to recover these Lost Forges. The answers to those questions are coming. We have some existing plans and some new ideas in the pipeline. That conversation will continue tomorrow in “This Week At Bungie.”

3 RepliesI really think that it's time for me to take a break from Destiny since I don't have much interests in it anymore . I thought that Black Amory will add some new dimensions to have fun but no, it's a boring grinding with a slow progression which try to prolong the playing time and ending rewards as some superficially reskinned weapons. Infusion system is unfair with enhanced core drop rate. No mechanism to encourage solo players like me to engage. Destiny has a ton a of weapons but I wonder why peoples only use certain ones. I hope that this must be an issue that developers are aware of. Destiny has a ton of shaders but only a few looked really nice. I mean the vault contains tons of useless stuffs. Anyway, enough said, there are many posts already gave you enough feedback. I only tell what are in my head at the moment. Probably, the magic of Destiny 1 is no longer there. I now only see Destiny 2 as an effort to catch up the greatness of Destiny 1. Starting playing Destiny since 2015 Feb and this is the moment that i'm really sad for not feeling any more excitement to play Destiny 2 everyday. So sad...and maybe too bad.

1 ReplyBasically you guys got rid of faction rallies renamed it and made us pay for it this game has let us down once again this is the last time for me I actually deleted destiny2 from my console so I wouldn't be tempted to play. He put so much money and time into a game you used to love very hard the stop playing it but I will not support this $35 to play the same content we already have with reskin weapons and then most of us are locked out of the content. I love that you can make matchmaking for this but not for night falls or the raid layers. Keep listening to the 1% of the try-hard YouTubers and streamers you're going to lose the other 99% just like you did before you're going to be begging for us to come back but I'm not coming back for Destiny 3 cuz nothing will change he'll give us some content to keep us happy and then you'll screw us over then back and forth until there's nothing left of the game and then you move on to something new. PEACE OUT!

I pass near to target and miss . Wtf? In pve also PvP is the same. I don't know maybe my PS4 is broken ? And can't handle shoulder charge anymore? Maybe 90% bungie don't test the game before applying patches? I think so....

4 RepliesI feel sorry for the ones who can't be on 24/7 and are not even 600 and there's a lot of them , but they bought the pass and it's unplayable for them , bungie could of set the first forge to 580 and just made it more accessible and just have the drops in relation to your current light . Then by all means crank the second forge up to what it is now and then increase the third etc etc 5 power light decrease is only helping a select few

Did all my daily and weekly powerful stuff and only got to 608..... What now... Wait tell reset and hope those drops will prepare me enough for the new content.... See a problem here? Guess I'll go play something else

Absolutely disappointed. Never been so turned off to the game. Would ask for a refund but why waste my time. Good luck fixing this monstrosity. Such a shame since Forsaken was amazing.

1 ReplyEven with the forge matchmaking you can still see that some people don't know what they're doing. WOW nailed the matchmaking for casuals and hardcore player base when they introduced different difficulties/requirements to matchmaking with fewer or more rewards depending on the mode. Matchmaking in all activities should be implemented and should also have difficulty levels like in WOW . Easy mode where there's tool tips with tactics explained, bosses weaknesses, player damage is lowered so ppl can learn activity/raid etc. Rewards then should be adjusted accordingly depends on which difficulty mode is selected, there could be 2 like Easy/Hard, or even 3 with Heroic mode added too. Players should not be able to join higher difficulties before completing Easy mode first, earing certain triumphs etc. I'm long time WOW player, who really likes this game and doesn't want the player base to dwindle down even more because of causal /hardcore player differences and light requirements. Cheers PS. Bungie we need transmog system guys, it's implementation is crucial to keeping players interested in farming older weapons/armors etc. At the moment there is no incentive to replay old content very much and a lot of awesome looking gear is just gathering dust in the collection screen. I can’t in good conscience recommend it if they won’t get to touch it for months of grinding. I think simple soft cap chase would be fine. Make everything catch up to 590 or 600. Then let grinding endgame get us up to speed. Allow customization like master working, mods, builds, and perfect rolls be TRUE endgame. Edit: thank you bungie for showing that you listen AND respond. Since forsaken came out I have enjoyed this game more than ever, and I have played since D1 beta. Keep the forsaken spirit alive. The IDEA of annual pass is fantastic. I posted a few ideas to encourage both hardcore AND legacy players. I am open to being hired as the bungie idea guy... just saying.

Just a little suggestion for future season pass content. If we have a week between the start of a new season and access to the next season pass content....allow power progression during that week of downtime. For example, season of the forge begins but we have not access to the contents yet...well...increase the power cap so we can be ready for the next challenge. Would be better than having to lower the power requirement for endgame content.

Haha saw yall lowered light level required to do the forge. Thought about getting the anal pass. Just watched the “raid” what an absolute joke. Was completed blind in under 2hrs. Confirmed not wasting any more money on you monkeys. Keep flinging that poo!
