Nerf Luna’s Howl and Shotguns range in PvP.

Enough said. Crutch weapons = no skill to use them. By the way speaking of matchmaking how about we divide clans of six into a team of someone who plays PvP solo or with two. That way clans of sweaty try hards don’t melt teams that aren’t apart of a clan that way it balances the odds of winning. Sounds fair!

    • Well if those crutch weapons required no skills then i guess that means you have no skills since you're on here whining. If you did have skills then you'd be able to adapt and have no problems countering lunas howl,but whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold

      One of Luna’s greatest weakness’ is it’s lack of range. No range perks and it comes with a stability MW. If you are getting beat by a Luna user at pulse range, that means you are just sitting still and letting him get precision shots on you(in which case the extra damage from Magnificent Howl can make up for the damage drop off but not the accuracy/aim assist) or they are an exceptionally skilled player. That, or you are not aware of it’s actual effective range and are challenging it stupidly. If you are out of range on Luna, a pulse can easily beat it. Particularly if you strafe a little bit, which will make it that much harder for even a skilled player to land consecutive precision hits at range. I beat plenty of Luna’s in Comp and QP, primarily using a Trust with a high range stat. If you can’t beat Luna at range with a pulse, that’s on you. Have the gun myself and I can say all of this from experience. There is a noticeable difference in accuracy and damage drop off between Luna and Trust. I almost didn’t like Luna right away because it didn’t pair as well with a shotgun and left you at a significant disadvantage at range, which has to be made up for with an aggressive/smart positioning play style. I much prefer Luna with a sniper most of the time, unless it’s Comp. Most maps you’ll want a shotgun more often then not.

      • Luna’s will never be nerfed. Bungie has come out and stated that pinnacle weapons are made to be OP. As for shotguns, learn to counter. Actually everything, just learn to counter

        • Did you say nerf!? Can’t believe I’m seeing this. You know that black armoury is next month and meta will shift to last word every where. Then you will cry about them aswell I guess? Crucible is, what it is, l2p adapt get better whatever. You ask for a top tier (apart from NF) to be nerfed but not telesto or that other trace rifle that melts in a millisecond!

        • Crutch ≠ Overpowered Prime examples: half of the perks from Black Ops 2, Blind Eye in Infinite Warfare, Loch n' Load from TF2, Liberty Launcher from TF2, Grapple in Titanfall, etc. Shotguns in D2 fall into that category. You have summoned me.
