I personally like Toussaint the best because of the strikingly beautiful visuals and bright colours along with some of the best landscapes and scenery in the game.
How about you?

4 RepliesSkellige. It's beautiful, and it's got a great regional soundtrack. That, and the accents are much better than velen.
-
I like Skellige, but there's too much water. 6/10

3 RepliesNovigrad. It's a living, breathing, crowded city. One of my gripes with open world games is that so often they create these amazing environments to explore which means forests, desert, ocean, etc. But never a city. You get small towns, but never anything massive like Novigrad.

Ard Skellige And the surrounding isles. It's a bit like being in the Iron Islands from a Song of Ice and Fire. Toussaint is cool, but the bright, non-standard color palette feels out of place and breaks my immersion, even though I know its purposeful.

The whole damn masterpiece
-
Toussaint . Though I felt at home everywhere in that world. 😊

4 RepliesWhere is toussaint? Is that the dlc? I never got around to it. Beat the game twice and was just kind of done with it, never played either dlc. Actually started the first one but those -blam!-ing spider things were driving me crazy.
-
3 RepliesArd Skellige; the inland where the old siege tower is overgrown in a beautiful high-country meadow. Probably my favorite bit of scenery, though I need to explore around Kear Morhen more.
-
2 RepliesSo far Skellige, but haven't been to the DLC areas yet. Velen is kinda depressing a lot of the time.

6 RepliesI need to finish the main story and play the DLC’s... 🤦🏻♂️

12 RepliesEdited by djtanng: 1/29/2018 11:57:25 PMIs there a tutorial on how to get into this game the right way? (not the technical way, but the "this is my favorite game way"). I heard that if you can just power through the beginning, then it eventually gets really good after a while. I believe people when they say that it's one of the best games ever, and I want to like it, but I'm at some part of the beginning where I feel like this game sucks so bad, that it could never eventually grow on me. Any advice would be helpful if I'm ever going to pick it up and try again.

1 ReplySkellige just for the music.

2 RepliesGot the complete edition for $20 during the psn black Friday sale. I've been slowly working through it so I'm only in skellige. So far it is my favourite but that may change

The whorehouse

The fairy tale dream world within Toussaint.

That place below toussaint blew me away
-
1 ReplySkellige, minus the ?'s in the open water lol.
-
1 ReplyI just started so I’m still in white orchard. :(
-
Skellige without a doubt, absolutely loved exploring those hills

Honestly I thought the iris world was really cool and sad asf. But skellige was cool at first but I got really annoyed with all the sailing and water.
-
I love my house

Toussaint was a little too bright for me. I know it was supposed to look like it was from a fairy tale, but the bright green grass gets hard to look at after a while.
-
Novigrad. The city is so diverse, and the quests are superb.
-
Base game Skellige but Toussaint after the DLC
-
I have to admit, I do like Toussaint. It's also the place that gave me the biggest chuckle in that you have this scarred, battle hardened monster slayer retiring to a peaceful life on a vineyard.
