I use my vendor Hawksaw until I hear half the team is using Grasp and Doctrine. Then I'll join in just to troll them with my Grasp. [spoiler]amazing how many of them I killed when I make the switch. So many people using arxhetype weapons as a crutch who don't even know how to play.[/spoiler]

Still roll with my shadow price. Y2 but it's insane. Crowd control, counter balance and armor piercing rounds. Best mid-range shredder I've ever played with.

I hope all you nerfherding asshats learn something from this as I spank you repeatedly next week with one of my awesome grasp rolls I picked up this weekend. And, just because I am extra salty about the class nerfs, I will be dropping nuts on all your orbs. Please run back to momma Bungie and demand more nerfs. Please do, and let them alter the meta again so I can farm more sh*t, get the guns required for easy kills, and spank every one of you nerfherding crybabies into Year 3. I've been seeing the same stuff and people have always used grasp and it has always been through same. The only thing was not everyone was wrung to farm for 30 hours to get a good roll. Tell gun is no where near op it's just gun to use.

4 RepliesIt's only because the modifiers made it easy to farm it. If the modifiers were Arc Burn, Lightswitch, Exposure, and the real Nightfall modifier no one would be farming. I mean c'mon. Really? Solar Burn AND specialist? *sighs* I guess. Good thing I got one that suits my play style a while ago ;)

I may be terrible at PvP, but I'll stick to using my Necrochasm since I discovered that this it's such a fun gun to use.. I like making things go boom and there is no better weapon for accomplishing that feat with great flair.. And hearing that Thrall scream in a Crucible match doesn't hurt either...

Yeah I fell into that trap too... spent 3 days farming grasps and when I finally got a "god roll" I was so excited I took it into crucible and... well... you can guess the rest... I'll stick with my eyasluna and, ahem, Universal Remote (hangs head in shame)

6 RepliesI got my grasp a long time ago. I quit in march. Its ok. Its better on bigger maps. You can out shoot it with suros. Other than that. Wait 3 months and there will be a new meta. Go to fwc, and that pulse rifle is better. Crotas pulse rifle is also better. Way way better. The strangers rifle is also. Better. Red death is. The boss. I honestly dont know why people use it so much. Oh well.
