Thorn
Just stop plz bungie.... every time I try to play Elimination practicing for trials I have to deal with a thorn. Most of the time a whole team of them. Please throw that sh** away or nerf the 3 bullets it takes to kill you. The poison is just insane on it. It needs a NERF .lol if you want to respond high kd low kd doesn't matter I'd love to hear your thoughts : 3 I'll respond as much as I can . Please check my stats before calling me a rookie Note* This weapon does 3 shot kill on body shots and this weapon Does in fact 2 shot in the head ♡ The Dot needs a Nerf or it at least needs to not stack ._. If you can't see that your an idiot plain and simple lol don't like it go use it on trials.

The only thing that needs to go on thorn And it provides a huge advantage And no ones really realized how powerful this is When you're burning the person who shot you has about 3 seconds of knowin where you're at because of the damage numbers That's why thorn is making a come back. People are learning how to use this The way to fix it is to remove the damage numbers from burn so you can't have a mini keen scout

1 ReplyThe weapon only two shots in the head with a damage buff (tether/WoL) or if you're running a low armor build. If you're running a low armor build in the crucible that's your own issue.

Yeah, I can outclass thorn but then crucible isn't fun any more. Thorn pretty much ruins anyone's crucible experience.

The first PvP I ever played in Y1 (around last Jan)... I got Thorned to shit and yes I was a total twat/scrub in my first match. After that when I researched and made it my mission to get this gyn. Several months of RNG bounties later and void kills etc I got it and I was the hated one. Its and exotic and I think its the "marmite" of Destiny. It made trials and IB unplayable especially if you ended up against a whole team of Thorn in Y1! I always won when we were all using Thorns in IB and even a scrub like me in Y1 IB thorn team could win a lot! I understand OP pain and opinion but this game was made by Bungie and I think our feedback is more to blame for it's ruin than anything else. This awesome community is so big that Bungie will never be able to satisfy everyone and this game will always suck for someone whether they are PvP or PvE lords/scrubs. I am nobody to judge anyone by their stats but I know Y1 top ToO players who never lost their spots (see tracker sites) due to weapon rebalancing so that must mean something...

1 ReplyIf you know you're up against a team using Thorn, keep your distance. The latest nerf to Hand Cannons means that the DoT won't be that bad if shot from quite far away. It can't two-shot and it's TTK is in line with other Hand Cannons. Is it annoying? Yes, of course. But no more annoying that being quick-scope whilst putting down DPS on a Sniper. You'll just have to play smarter.

It's an exotic. Exotics should feel more op than any legendary. Without the dot it will be a 4 headshot to kill so no leave it as it is

Just got mine today from legacy engram. Happens to be I'm quite good with it. I know you'll hate me but if you see me using thorn tomorrow. Don't get angry. I'm testing out the weapon.

2 RepliesYou do know that Thorn was hardly used at the beginning right? It only became op cause people (pvp) complained about it being too weak to use ... Then it got buffed... Then just before TTk it was nerfed... And now it seems op still because of all the recent patches from "weapon balancing"... Whose to blame for all of that...??
