I'm going to preface by saying I believe the Hunters are the most underpowered classes in the game. For those of you that are going to deny this, I am going to back up my claim with obvious data from the game and forums themselves.

Titan
In my personal opinion, this class is the most broken piece of trash I've ever had to deal with in any multiplayer game ever. Literally. Ever. And I've played quite a few games ranging from casual MMO's to MOBA's. As far as a balanced class is, this isn't one of them.
--Defender
I honestly have no problems with this particular subclass. It's a safe, well-rounded class and the only thing that really makes it difficult to deal with is its barrier melee and bubble/shotgun combo. Else-wise, relatively balanced.
--Striker
Here's my problem with this class: It is entirely far too difficult to kill unless you can run up on him with a Shotgun(And pray to GOD he doesn't have his super) or snipe him. Now, Fist of Havoc is already pointlessly difficult to kill a Titan in and -blam!- any attempt of getting away because the radius is far too large to get out of if you are a football field that gets wrecked by this attack. Shockwave makes it that much more difficult to dodge out of if you're in front of him, and after math blocks off a massive part of the arena you're in. Aftershocks just makes it that much more of a paint to deal with.
Juggernaut is a crazy ass ability that makes the Titan that much harder to kill. If he's charging and has an understanding of how to dodge, a shotgunner juggernaut will wreck your life if you can't snipe him in time. To top it off, Overload tips the balance even further. I can't tell you how many time's I've been hit as a Hunter by a Titan, with full health, just to get dropped immediately with full armor. That makes NO god damn sense. A Hunter might have the fastest melee in the game, but it doesn't really matter if I'm killed in one punch, now does it?
Shoulder Charge is yet another pointless addition to the melee arsenal. Seeings as you can already wreck someone with Discharge, what would be the point of this ability? Insult to injury? Seriously.
--Sunbreaker
Now how about that Sunbreaker? Now, a ton of people are going to have a lot to say about this (probably those of you that suck off the Titan for their OP gifts) because of the recent tiny ass nerf they did to the Sunbreaker. The difference is incredibly minuscule when compared to the balls deep anal railing they did to the Blade Dancer. It's mind boggeling that they think this would be enough to make a difference. Sure, you can snipe a Sunbreaker now if your impact is high enough... unless they're using the overshield perk where they then take two minimum shots. Then you have the Sunbreaker's melee. Yet again, normally a One-shot. To top it off, it's yet another subclass that can reset its melee cooldown. Not on kill, but on hit. I could go more into this, but I'm going to move on to the Warlocks.
I have almost no problems with the Warlocks, to be honest. The only problem I have is that nearly every melee they have either resets their melee ability cooldown or gives them a shield. Aside from that, Warlocks are cool in my book. The Ram makes them hella hard to kill, but it's honestly nothing that can't be dealt with.
Hunter
Let's move on to the most underpowered class in the game.
Now a lot of you are going to disagree with me, pointlessly or bullheadedly, but the honest truth of the matter is that everything hunter is incredibly underpowered when compared to Titan or Warlock.
--Bladedancer
Bladedancer got a pretty serious asskicking from 1.0 to 2.0 Destiny. Whereas Felwinter became a big check to the Bladedancer, the shotgun nerf(Which was much needed) made the Bladedancer kind of viable. Even with Tarentella, however, they're still laughable at best. The grenade of choice is going to be the Flux Grenade which can only kill someone if you stick it to someone, the Arcbolt does nothing worth note anymore, and Skip Grenades do barely enough to knock a shield off. In comparison to everyone else's phenomenal grenades that can take you down to the point where you're either burning or have a sliver of health left, the Arc Subclass for Hunter seems pretty shitty. Regardless of build and armor typing, a Blade Dancer will have to hit a Sunbreaker two-to-three times in order to kill him, will die every time to a Fist of Panic, will draw with a Void Walker, get screwed by a Nightstalker Bow, One shot by a golden gun, and overall reamed from every direction of every other class. To top it off, shotgun-melee will wreck a blade dancer. To top it off, there is not regenerative ability, no shields from melee, and the only thing with bonus damage is the backstab. Also, if you're going to incorporate stealth into the game to utilize backstab, actually make stealth a stealth instead of 'kinda stealthy'.
--Gunslinger
Personally, it seems this class, all-be-it boring, is the most viable class for Trials or 3v3 crucible of any sort. It's a strong long-range class, but is incredibly outclassed by the Sunbreaker who has a plethora of hammers to sling all over the place. Where people will argue the range of a Gunslinger, a Gunslinger can't regenerate health, doesn't have armor, and is easily taken down while super'd. To top it off, the nerf to their Achlyophage makes it incredibly difficult to get off that fourth shot without wasting precious super energy that you have a very very small amount of now. With the inability to regenerate super energy while shooting your golden gun (Unless you get a kill with your knife((lol. Who uses a knife while they're shooting a golden gun))) and a lack of shots (It should honestly be raised to a minimum of four normally with a fifth shot from Achlyophage with an increase in super time), sure, it's good, but it just doesn't outperform the Titan. The throwing knife is cool and all, but unless you get a critical with burn, you won't wreck someone with it.
--Nightstalker
I like the Nightstalker. I'll preface with that. But I only like it for PvE since it's adds a huge advantage with Orb Creation and bonus damage. As a utility class, it's absolutely perfect. HOWEVER. It's secondary perks for the arrows make it.. meh. Courage of the Pack looks like a fun perk, but when weighed against the power of orbs, the choice is obvious.
For PvP, I don't see it as a very viable option. It can screw over a super from time to time, but it has a picky targeting system. I have no problem getting kills with it, but the time it takes to actually fire the arrow and the travel speed of the arrow makes it an avoidable super with a high risk of exposure when used. I can't tell you how many times I've been sniped out of my super while firing my arrow.
Not all is bad in the world of the Nightstalker. The Fart Grenades (Envenomed) are an incredibly fun tool to use in PvP. They can really turn the tides with a double melee. Aside from these awesome little guys, it just doesn't feel viable in Crucible.
I'm prepared for the critics and skeptics. This is all opinion (Backed up with some facts) and I personally believe, from personal experience, that Titans are broken as shit.

I think the broken one is the author ...

Don't like it? Don't play.

3 RepliesEdited by Cintron: 1/10/2016 2:15:26 AMI'll put it simply, you can't understand the balance of this game without playing all three classes.
none of the classes are broken
2 RepliesEdited by haywire: 1/10/2016 12:31:28 AMYou. You are the reason for the reputation of hunters. Get off Destiny. Now. On another note, sign below to petition to excommunicate OP as a hunter.

9 RepliesIs that why bladedancer has the highest kd of any subclass? Stfu.
-
1 ReplyI see you levelling up a Titan Finally got rid of that 3rd hunter for some hammer time I see Good choice, in 3 months you'll have 3 Titans won't you little destical
-
Titans not broken, u complained about shotgun they ruined them for u, u complain about our solar class and they nerfed it but had to buff the other class. Its suppose to be cqb top class, if they bring back thw larger maps u wouldnt be able to complain. Titans never been broken they been the underdog and since the begining and the numbers prove it. Now we lost our best class and went to our default so u can feel bettee but now ur calling for a nerf on next class now? All i can say is nut up and do better.

And Again....a much text, much Bullshit post *_*
-
This is quality bait
-
Ummmm....no class is op
-
2 RepliesI take down Titans as easy as any other class. And I think it's funny how you think when Titans use a bubble you think when they have the bubble/shotgun combo it's a broken or scrubby op thing. If you see a Titan in his bubble, unless you and 4 other guys know you can take him down together, or you guys have a super/supers, just back the F off, it's simple.
-
If by broken, you mean bugged, then yeah I agree.
-
I've finished all nine crucible subclass quests recently thanks in large part to mayhem rumble and clash lol and you good sir don't know what the hell your talking about especially with striker Titans one example depending on what exotic your using to be unstoppable takes away shoulder charge and I can honestly say I've never ran juggernaut before and my titans number 1 weapon is a shotgun now running the super scrub load out the last word I don't snipe in pvp my 1000 yard is for pve only
-
Bro idk what your talking about with the titans I've been shot gunned out of my shoulder charge I've rushed heavies with FOH only for half the other team to jump out of my smash with heavy turn around mid air point laugh and shoot me with a rocket lol. Warlocks storm caller can float around the map and take considerable damage for a while, the nerf to titans was far from tiny but I didn't care to much for the class anyway but nonetheless I'm far from a pro just giving my small opinion.

1 ReplyWhere is the "op is a bitch" option?
-
You're one special kind of stupid.
-
1 ReplyThis poll isnt balanced. People, choose titans a bit more and then itll be balanced with the percentage of the warlocks and hunters.
-
The classes (and crucible in general) are very well balanced IMO. Shadow shot and HoS could use a buff, most of the gunslinger's perks are useless (although it's still really good as a whole), nova bomb needs 5% more damage reduction to match FoH and lance is kind of weird, and arc blade needs better hit detection. Other than that the classes are pretty well balanced. And no, striker is nowhere near op, it's a close range subclass so stick to long range.
-
You're so incredibly biased since you have 2 hunters lol. Where's the #satire tag?

Edited by EatingOurHorses: 1/10/2016 2:37:51 AMNothing in your rambling, incoherent post even comes close to anything that can be considered a rational thought. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.

This has got to be the stupidest post ive ever seen
-
2 RepliesSunsingers have the ability to rise from the dead, have a melee that gives you an overshield by just bitch slapping someone, and have a grenade that takes away about 75% of your health. But using it is fun, I guess.

Edited by Red Right Hand: 1/10/2016 2:24:41 AMI am sorry, but... If you can't find any valid tactic to counter Titans with the extensive potential of your subclasses, you are a disgrace to every other Hunter out there. Golden Gun is just plain awesome. Tether is the new PvE-breaking Weapons of Light. Arc Blade + Blink = If you get shot at all, you're doing it wrong, kid! Long story short: that poll of yours needs an option for "OP's opinion is broken".

1 ReplyI couldn't help but laugh at the part of wrecking someone with discharge. Also stopped reading there

8 RepliesEdited by solistian: 1/9/2016 9:24:35 PMI honestly stopped reading when you complained that Fist of Havoc is too hard to kill. Really dude?..... Wow man It's half a second of being hard to kill in the middle of your super. GOD FORBID A CLASS HAVING THAT. It's not like Hunters get more armor while firing shadowshot (especially that three times with quiver) Not complaining about it And yes I know Not as much armor as Titan but just wow Even in that HALF A SECOND of me using my super, I still get killed plenty of times. And really? Fist of Havoc is too hard to dodge? The radius is too big? ITS A SUPER The radius on Fist of Havoc isn't even CRAZY big Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure it's the same size as nova bomb. And aftermath is too much of a pain? You mean the thing that lasts like ten seconds even with the perk to EXTEND its time? And blocking off a huge chunk of an arena? It's smaller than the actual FoH itself. I don't even think it hurts you if you're jumping over it. Wow WHAT A NUISANCE Holy shit dude. I can't stop saying wow. Shockwave? If you're far away from the initial blast of FoH and shockwave is heading towards you. You have a good amount of time to be jumping away. I've seen people just jump out of its way if they notice. Fist of Havoc isn't an amazing super. It's like Nova Bomb You have to save it in order for an opportunity to get multi kills with it when it turns up. It's just a waste if you FoH/NB just one person. (Besides super countering someone else) I gladly bumped to agree that you're an idiot sir.
