I'm going to preface by saying I believe the Hunters are the most underpowered classes in the game. For those of you that are going to deny this, I am going to back up my claim with obvious data from the game and forums themselves.

Titan
In my personal opinion, this class is the most broken piece of trash I've ever had to deal with in any multiplayer game ever. Literally. Ever. And I've played quite a few games ranging from casual MMO's to MOBA's. As far as a balanced class is, this isn't one of them.
--Defender
I honestly have no problems with this particular subclass. It's a safe, well-rounded class and the only thing that really makes it difficult to deal with is its barrier melee and bubble/shotgun combo. Else-wise, relatively balanced.
--Striker
Here's my problem with this class: It is entirely far too difficult to kill unless you can run up on him with a Shotgun(And pray to GOD he doesn't have his super) or snipe him. Now, Fist of Havoc is already pointlessly difficult to kill a Titan in and -blam!- any attempt of getting away because the radius is far too large to get out of if you are a football field that gets wrecked by this attack. Shockwave makes it that much more difficult to dodge out of if you're in front of him, and after math blocks off a massive part of the arena you're in. Aftershocks just makes it that much more of a paint to deal with.
Juggernaut is a crazy ass ability that makes the Titan that much harder to kill. If he's charging and has an understanding of how to dodge, a shotgunner juggernaut will wreck your life if you can't snipe him in time. To top it off, Overload tips the balance even further. I can't tell you how many time's I've been hit as a Hunter by a Titan, with full health, just to get dropped immediately with full armor. That makes NO god damn sense. A Hunter might have the fastest melee in the game, but it doesn't really matter if I'm killed in one punch, now does it?
Shoulder Charge is yet another pointless addition to the melee arsenal. Seeings as you can already wreck someone with Discharge, what would be the point of this ability? Insult to injury? Seriously.
--Sunbreaker
Now how about that Sunbreaker? Now, a ton of people are going to have a lot to say about this (probably those of you that suck off the Titan for their OP gifts) because of the recent tiny ass nerf they did to the Sunbreaker. The difference is incredibly minuscule when compared to the balls deep anal railing they did to the Blade Dancer. It's mind boggeling that they think this would be enough to make a difference. Sure, you can snipe a Sunbreaker now if your impact is high enough... unless they're using the overshield perk where they then take two minimum shots. Then you have the Sunbreaker's melee. Yet again, normally a One-shot. To top it off, it's yet another subclass that can reset its melee cooldown. Not on kill, but on hit. I could go more into this, but I'm going to move on to the Warlocks.
I have almost no problems with the Warlocks, to be honest. The only problem I have is that nearly every melee they have either resets their melee ability cooldown or gives them a shield. Aside from that, Warlocks are cool in my book. The Ram makes them hella hard to kill, but it's honestly nothing that can't be dealt with.
Hunter
Let's move on to the most underpowered class in the game.
Now a lot of you are going to disagree with me, pointlessly or bullheadedly, but the honest truth of the matter is that everything hunter is incredibly underpowered when compared to Titan or Warlock.
--Bladedancer
Bladedancer got a pretty serious asskicking from 1.0 to 2.0 Destiny. Whereas Felwinter became a big check to the Bladedancer, the shotgun nerf(Which was much needed) made the Bladedancer kind of viable. Even with Tarentella, however, they're still laughable at best. The grenade of choice is going to be the Flux Grenade which can only kill someone if you stick it to someone, the Arcbolt does nothing worth note anymore, and Skip Grenades do barely enough to knock a shield off. In comparison to everyone else's phenomenal grenades that can take you down to the point where you're either burning or have a sliver of health left, the Arc Subclass for Hunter seems pretty shitty. Regardless of build and armor typing, a Blade Dancer will have to hit a Sunbreaker two-to-three times in order to kill him, will die every time to a Fist of Panic, will draw with a Void Walker, get screwed by a Nightstalker Bow, One shot by a golden gun, and overall reamed from every direction of every other class. To top it off, shotgun-melee will wreck a blade dancer. To top it off, there is not regenerative ability, no shields from melee, and the only thing with bonus damage is the backstab. Also, if you're going to incorporate stealth into the game to utilize backstab, actually make stealth a stealth instead of 'kinda stealthy'.
--Gunslinger
Personally, it seems this class, all-be-it boring, is the most viable class for Trials or 3v3 crucible of any sort. It's a strong long-range class, but is incredibly outclassed by the Sunbreaker who has a plethora of hammers to sling all over the place. Where people will argue the range of a Gunslinger, a Gunslinger can't regenerate health, doesn't have armor, and is easily taken down while super'd. To top it off, the nerf to their Achlyophage makes it incredibly difficult to get off that fourth shot without wasting precious super energy that you have a very very small amount of now. With the inability to regenerate super energy while shooting your golden gun (Unless you get a kill with your knife((lol. Who uses a knife while they're shooting a golden gun))) and a lack of shots (It should honestly be raised to a minimum of four normally with a fifth shot from Achlyophage with an increase in super time), sure, it's good, but it just doesn't outperform the Titan. The throwing knife is cool and all, but unless you get a critical with burn, you won't wreck someone with it.
--Nightstalker
I like the Nightstalker. I'll preface with that. But I only like it for PvE since it's adds a huge advantage with Orb Creation and bonus damage. As a utility class, it's absolutely perfect. HOWEVER. It's secondary perks for the arrows make it.. meh. Courage of the Pack looks like a fun perk, but when weighed against the power of orbs, the choice is obvious.
For PvP, I don't see it as a very viable option. It can screw over a super from time to time, but it has a picky targeting system. I have no problem getting kills with it, but the time it takes to actually fire the arrow and the travel speed of the arrow makes it an avoidable super with a high risk of exposure when used. I can't tell you how many times I've been sniped out of my super while firing my arrow.
Not all is bad in the world of the Nightstalker. The Fart Grenades (Envenomed) are an incredibly fun tool to use in PvP. They can really turn the tides with a double melee. Aside from these awesome little guys, it just doesn't feel viable in Crucible.
I'm prepared for the critics and skeptics. This is all opinion (Backed up with some facts) and I personally believe, from personal experience, that Titans are broken as shit.

2 RepliesEdited by Sukuna: 1/11/2016 10:53:04 AM'Hunters are easily the most underpowered class in the game' HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA 'Golden gun is outclassed by sunbreakers who have a plethora of hammers to sling around Golden gun can be dodged as easy as hammers right? And hammers never bug out, right????? 'Skip grenades can't even get someones shield off & Shotgun-melee will still wreck a bladedancer Skip grenades are one of the best grenades, able to pursue and kill someone who doesn't have much health left. Bad grenade, right?? And have you ever heard of 'skill'. If a bladedancer is skilled with it, it can wreck entire groups with no trouble. They don't have any trouble with shotgun-melee. But i see that you are missing some of that 'skill'.. 'Defender is a well-balanced super' So the 'worst' pvp subclass in the game, is 'balanced' in your opinion? Probably because you never got killed by it... 'The tiny ass nerf sunbreakers recieved' Lol. They are overnerfed. Im a titan myself and i thought it was overnerfed, even other hunters and warlocks agree that it is overnerfed. No tracking at all, no splash damage, no kill by full impact, hammers detonating too early, etc.

This is satire idiots lol

I was about to describe a very gory scene involving the death of OP but I got banned the last time I did that so use your imagination.

Edited by Rookyphoenix829: 1/11/2016 11:17:06 AMI think they are all balanced except for for the hit detection problem on melees that really screws over the bladedancers subclass and some shouldercharge.

Sorry but a fireteam of 6 tethers is unstoppable.

Ok I am going to start reporting everyone who agrees to nerf titans and warlocks. Sick of LIES like this been spread and that shit been believed by narrow minded people. Keep bumping this post... F U C K off...

Edited by oGriizzz: 1/11/2016 11:14:12 AMHmm I thought Blade Dancers had a perk called... Oh I don't know? Hungering Blade? Backup to the Titan Melee comments, you realize Titans still have the least ranged Melee, even after the tiny buff? I main a Titan and I've never once one hit killed anybody with Melee unless they're shield is down, and I have a full Melee charge. Sunbreakers take 3 swipes of Blade Dancer to kill? Umm.. Inaccurate to say the least. I was swiped once by an invisible Blade Dancer while in Hammer of Sol and was killed instantly. Sunbreakers have toooooo much armor! Let me take 3 shotgun blasts at pissing distance while shooting my Shadow Shot says the Nightstalker. Golden Gun one hit kills everything. Hammer of Sol? If you don't throw a hammer at the correct time, while being shot by a golden gun, it disappears in the air. Blade Dancers are underpowered you say? Why is it that 90% of Trials streamers run Blade Dancer? Hmm I wonder. Blade Dancer still has a very good neutral game. Hit detection is kinda bad, but that's mostly in the air, when Blade Dancer already has an aim bot. Press RT anywhere close to a guy and it locks on. How about having a positive KD in at least 1 game mode before you talk shit.

2 RepliesSun breakers were overdone on the nerf. This coming from a striker. I've also been killed and have killed Titans mid super with blink strike as a blade dancer... So you're wrong there. The nightstalker is a dangerous enemy of that enemy knows how to play and isn't a crying bitch like most huntards. Golden gun more easily snags kills compared to the new sunbreaker... Again I have both at 315+ I like how you're okay with defender. With one of its only strengths being one of your only complaints... And you must sacrifice the blind bubble effect for that shotgun shield effect. You also noted there's an over shield for sunbreakers. And I don't believe you realize it's an immobile over shield as it requires you to rest in a sun spot that doesn't move? Nightstalker tips for you. Quiver, and spread your shots to cut off a route from a super guardian. Smoke with a grenade is one of the most broken aspects of any class. Additionally, you failed to identify the fact the hunter void subclass has some of if not the best mobility in the game. Shade step given by an exotic with keen scout, for more speed. Also that red x you can see behind a wall when the enemy is coming and hard scope that corner... You have no facts in your statements, just make believe stories. Titan punches outside of iron banner will not one shot you. That just doesn't happen. I run a max agility no armor hunter and it doesn't happen to me. You also state the sunbreaker melee recharges on hit, not kill. You're absolutely wrong. That's the striker who claims that perk. You have no problem with warlock melee being ridiculously over extended? Or the on hit shield? No issue with the fact they don't stay dead, or are just as hard as a void walker to drop during super cast as a striker? When radiance is up, they can keep a mobile over shield and spam Viking funeral perked grenades? No issue with them having blink? Of course not, you're a huntard. And what about their storm trance God of Thunder mode? Blade dancers have knee pads as a perk, blink, and one of the hardest hitting melees in game(I'd wager second only to peregrine grease charges). You also have hungering blade, and I recorded a clip post patch of a blade dancer melting myself and others, under fire, regenerating health and eating my team for dinner. I'm not amazing but I'm definitely not horrid at the game, so it's not like I just died due to lack of skill. You simply add to the stereotype of hunters at the moment
