Activision have announced that Bungie will continue to ship paid DLC expansions in year 2.

2 RepliesI love it, absolutely love it. How anyone could have thought it would be any different is beyond me. All those "guess you don't like free dlc" comments about micro transactions. Next phase in their plans? "Oh it's just emotes get over it." To "oh it's just weapon synth, if you have to use those you're a scrub." To "oh it's just strange coins, xurning isn't real anyway" to "you can't go on this raid with us because you didn't pay for that weapon." It'll be the natural evolution of our microtransactions, and you know what? Maybe it won't be tomorrow or next week, or even during destinys lifespan, but it could be the model for destiny 2. Everyone just keeps on accepting everything bungie throws at them and defends a game that while I've had fun with friends with, is fundamentally unbalanced and broken and is an obvious cash grab for over priced content. /rant over

I can't understand in my wildest dreams why they wouldn't have paid dlcs. It makes no point to have them free. I'm just happy as long as they come quick enough before it gets boring. If you can't pay for your concole hobby they swap over to playing cards or something it's cheaper.

Any reasonable person would have known this far before they ever had to Google it to confirm. In order for a game to function properly if requires money and emotes aren't going to fulfill that.

Google shows next paid dlc (downloadable content) like the new pvp map you got for free.. won't be till fall 2016. As far as google.. don't believe everything you read. If we have to end paying oh well. I enjoy the game and will pay for more. Doesn't mean you have to at all.
