Activision have announced that Bungie will continue to ship paid DLC expansions in year 2.

4 RepliesOf course Bungie never said anything about free DLC. That crap rumor was started by a few Destiny hard cores in an attempt to counter the recent micro transaction complaints. It went like this- Clueless simpleton Destiny hater- "I'm done with Bungie. Micro transactions will be the death of Destiny." Clueless simpleton Destiny lover- "You're an idiot! Please leave, and let us enjoy the the FREE DLC that micro transactions bring. It really is as simple as that.

1 ReplyWhy did you think it would be free??? They said the eververse would support the live team to make updates and events or free at an increased rate. Such as the Halloween event and the update we are getting soon. They never once implied there wouldn't be more paid DLC, people who have the reading comprehension of a preschooler just saw "free updates" and squeeeeeeeeed all the way to the forums, and everyone who didn't read the new list believed them.

The free content you're getting from buying emotes are events... Not dlc (like this lost to light shit & the candy). Why do people still think they're getting free dlc. Show me where it says we get free dlc in any update. You'll never furnish proof because it doesn't exist.
