A game that relies on loot drops and Rng to keep its player base addicted is not going to start selling pay 2 win anything. Pay to win would take away the grind that fuels Destiny which in turn would kill the game. Not complaining about the grind I love Destiny have played since day 1 and will continue to do so .

1 ReplyTake the tin foil hat off and go chew on it. Twat.

Edited by Cracknut Whirrun: 10/21/2015 1:30:55 PMI'm assuming you don't believe the game won't go pay to win, and therefore you won't accept any answer that isn't "yes, you're right, we are going to sell everthing and you will need to buy it to be competative...."
-
The Division drops soon. No need to fret, you'll forget Destiny soon enough.
-
Bungie probably isn't entirely certain and is making it up as they go.
-
No matter what the do you are never happy so yeah

3 RepliesThe energy you've wasted... Let it go. If they do introduce some pay to win mechanic in the future, We will all be here to hear you moan then. But until then stfu. And stop littering the forums with rubbish that you've allowed others to fill your head with. So sick of being called a blind sheep for being logical. When the real lemmings are the ones over excitedly fapping to any conspiracy that pops up on the forums.
-
It's not gonna be a pay to win bro calm your nipples there a bit to hard right now

Please report the original post and it will automatically be removed.

Even if they did, you bunch of whiny jerk-offs would say they're lying anyways.

Due to huge popularity of silver introduction that is completely supported by you the players, we've listened to your feedback and we can proudly reveal that gold purchasing will be available in our next patch! To get your answers just purchase 5000 gold for £64.99. This is completely optional, you're under no pressure to buy and more importantly it won't affect your gaming experience Deej out

When did a company ever provide DETAILED information about future plans and releases? You sir are living in Fantasy Land.
-
They literally did give info. They said it would remain cosmetic. Like what? What secrecy? Seriously, what?!?!??? It's hard not being a -blam!-ing idiot on these forums
-
The items that were found in the code were removed due to their better judgement. What's left is merely programming dust. Quit your shit.
-
They came and cleaned up lol. They made emotes and offered them for sale, that's all there is to it. Take off your tin foil hat and get with the program.
-
8 RepliesThe new kotaku article that states the true story behind the gutting of destiny suggests that bungie....not activistion came up with this micro transaction idea I would be wary
-
Edited by Vox Mortuis: 10/20/2015 10:15:01 PMLol they need to what? Why? They already have. They are selling cosmetic items. In the future they might sell consumables (most likely increased xp gain items) that won't be giving buffs to raid drop rates. They have told us everything we could want to know. Then there are the guys in tin foil hats yelling "bungie is lying to us!!!1!!11!!!". Here's the thing. You ask bungie to tell us what's going on, they tell us, then you say they're lying? So.....obviously tin foil hat people won't be satisfied until they get an answer that they want to hear, whether it's the truth or not.
-
There was a twitter post saying that those consumables y'all datamined were concepts and scrapped/replaced by mouldering shards.
-
1 ReplyWhy? You all wouldn't believe what they posted anyways. You want to hear one thing and one thing only. You want Bungie to say "We are making this game pay to win". Anything beyond that will be met with "Luke smith is a liar." What's the point.
-
8 RepliesDo you have any ingame proof? Quotable source from Activision or Bungie that states explicitly that there will be cash transactions for in game improvements that are not cosmetic? Didn't think so. You have old data mined files and conjecture. Bungie reads these forums and there are lots of smart people in Bungie and Activision who know how we all feel. They know if we perceive things as pay to win, their credibility is gone, and future sales are gone. Despite what many here will think and say, Bungie cares about the game. Feel free to continue to work yourselves in a frenzy though. Don't mind me.
-
They've stated before the games release that they would never go pay to win or pay to play in this game series.
