Should Etheric light drop from level 32 poe?
Im stuck on being 33 on all characters and haven't got any Etheric light yet and I suck at pvp so trials and iron banner doesn't seem like viable options and I'm getting slaughtered on level 34 poe, so do you think etheric light should drop from level 32 poe?

For PvE exclusive players like myself, we only get 2 guranteed drops a week, while PvP get 2 guranteed from Osiris, 1 guranteed from Lighthouse, and 2 guranteed from Iron Banner. Either that or let us buy Etheric Light from Variks for a new Token, or Petra at rank 5 or something.

Hell yes! The rarity of the only consumable available to upgrade everything is ridiculous for those of us who only play PVE, (especially when they apparently hand it out like candy in PVP regardless of skill level). I personally hate the repetitive nature of PVP and don't feel that this should be my only option to quickly rank the many sets of armor and dozens of weapons in my inventory. It's a walk in the park to hit the level cap now thanks to all the new and crappy armor that seems to be handed out rather than earned, but ranking my vast collection is a slower crawl than ever. I think everything above the 28 play list should provide at least one etheric light. I would even include it as a random drop in the hard raids. From everything I'm seeing on these forums, it seems that only the PVP fans are content with the current drop rate. I can respect anyone's player preference but PVE and PVP are two very different game modes and need to be treated as such.

Just do the 32 each week for the armor core and get to lvl 34

I would play trials to get it, but I have been having a bad connection to destiny lately and don't want to ruin someone going for lighthouse (been getting beetle, "you have left your current fireteam", weasel, cattle, olive, etc) will probably try this weekend to see if it gets better

You will have plenty of time to get to 34. I wouldn't worry about it to much.

3 RepliesNo. There are plenty of avenues to getting to level 34. You can collect Armour cores to get yourself to level 34 (over 3 weeks but still not the end of the world), nightfalls can grant you EL, as can a range of PvP activities, also regardless of how awful you are at PvP you should be able to drag at least one character to Level 3 Iron Banner next week to buy yourself a piece of EL. Personally I'm going for Armour cores to get me to level 34 and from then onwards playing Level 34 PoE to get Etheric light to upgrade the armour I want to wear (although I love the House of judgement armour). Thus far I've had 2 Etheric Light drops from nightfalls 1 I used on a chest piece that has now been superseded by the HoJ one (sad face) and another I'm keeping in my vault until I can decide what to do with it. In reality most of my EL's will be used on guns as I have a long list that I want to get to 365.

Welcome to the club. Stuck at 33 on all my 3 characters as well. Haven't been able to play ToO and wasn't lucky getting any during Nightfalls. I would play IB this week though.

You can suck at pvp and still do fine in IB. Just play and have fun.
