Who else is just about prepared for HoW already?
When I say prepared I mean the following:
1. Postmaster full on all 3 characters
--filled with Cryptarch Packages and Public Event Rewards
2. All but 1 faction on each character has less than 50 points to level up. Make sure that 5th one will be ready on day 1 of HoW.
3. Have 200 of each planet material on each character (Spinmetal/Relic iron/etc..)
4. Have over 500+ upgrade material and weapon parts on each character (Plating/Essence,etc..)
5. Have over 150 glimmer consumables ready to feed the Cryptarch (Banners/Keys/etc...) not really needed just a plus.
6. Have 200 marks for Vanguard and Crucible saved.
7. Shards and Energy of all types saved up
8. Strange coins and motes of light saved for new Xur after HoW drops....
Anyway, yea I'm just about there :) anyone else being this obsessive?

Edit: Great discussion guys.. I just want to give a little clarification to those who have responded or thought that I need a life.
I work 9-5, my typical weekday is this.
Wake up around 630 get my son ready for school he leaves at 7. I play for about an hour and then get ready for work
I get home around 530 we get supper ready and i spend time with the wife and kid until about 8-9. My son is a teenager and plays destiny as well and other games so he wants to go do that and my wife will want to go read or watch "her" shows and I'll play until about 11-12 then go to bed.
2 nights a week I don't follow this routine as I play hockey for 2 hours those nights but usually I will play a bit later when I get home cause well I'm just not tired after hockey :)
So yes I play approx 3-5 hours a day but in the run of the day it's "my" time and I can do with it as I please. If it's not destiny it would just be a different game ;)

Postmaster packages and Legendary engrams will only contain Pre HOW content... they are predetermined... what you need to do is level all factions so they are one bounty away from a package... then on drop day complete bounties one per faction and you will have 4 packages plus crucible if you play that...

2 RepliesAlmost there, just have to finish off my other 2 characters and I'm set. List requirements: -all factions one patrol from rank up -saving of all glimmer consumables -have 10 bounties complete waiting for turn in -have maxed marks per character Anything extra is a waste and won't transfer.

Don't forget to stock up on all the different weapon telemetry to speed up the upgrade

2 RepliesI really dont get this, youre "prepared" sure so what when you get new guns and armor you can instantly level it up? To me that just sounds.... i dunno dumb? Not being mean but why would you want to super rush everything and get to the glass ceiling so fast? Just seems mad to me that you would do all of this, then within a couple of weeks possibly be fully upgraded and have nothing to strive for. Madness but each to their own.

Why ready if you have enough time after the release date? lol Trust me, I did this all for Dark Below and after 2 weeks I pretty much got everything. Ofcourse it didn;t took long enough for me to feel bored. The reason being, I rushed through the expansion.

3 RepliesThe most important thing is having cool people to raid with. I have that box checked, along with three maxed characters and all but one exotic (crux).

I've got all vendor ranks within the appropriate amount. I've got enough marks on each character to purchase any gear that is not rewarded through packages or through the DLC missions I've got my glimmer maxed with approx 90 consumables in the vault. I've got all the exotics (except the necro). I've got 10 5000xp bounties saved on each character (one less for each exotic bounty that I'm going to wait to turn in) I've got all three characters at level 32 That's as far as I'm taking it. When (if) I can get the Crux, I'm going to stop playing altogether until the DLC drops.

Think I am ready? All we need now is a release date - come on Bungie!

Nope, got a little stuff stored and am levelling a few factions. I actually don't want to get upgraded too quick, I'd get bored. On the other hand I don't wish to be left behind by my pals....... Damn peer pressure!!
