Need some advice. (Not what you think.)

I am selling my Xbox 360 Slim and all its accessories to get a Gaming Computer, monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Any advice or input why this is a bad or good idea? Any games I should pick up or avoid? (Also I did put this in gaming but got no response .)

  • Perhaps make a slower transition? With your current tech quickly becoming old, why not just save some money instead of trying to sell what you have to only get a fraction of what it will cost to get an efficient gaming rig.

  • I've learned from the past to never sell my video games. I may be sick of them now but 15 years down the road I'd love to have them and play them again. Oh what I would give to have my N64 and original Xbox collection back... damn garage sales.

      • I'm personally no longer a fan of selling my gaming stuff. I traded in my entire gaming collection to pay for a 360 back in '09. Only got a one or two hundred dollars and now that I think back on it, I'd rather have kept all my stuff and just paid the $300 out of my pocket, as I could have.

      • I've been looking into it lately myself, but there are only a few games coming out that the PC has access to, and A Realm Reborn(Final Fantasy MMO) is one of the one's that's inspiring me to look into it more, otherwise right now you'd be playing games that you've already played on your 360 before. I would wait awhile longer for some good exclusives.

I might sell the stuff to have the money if you aren't using it very much anymore. (Maybe save up for an Xbox One eh?) But either way, whichever provides you with the most fun and solid entertainment is the gaming item you should use. On PC games my friend recommends Runescape (But he hasn't played PC games in a long time due to switching to Xbox) and Command and Conquer Red Alert. I played Star Wars: The Old Republic on PC and was not particularly fond of it, but if you like that kind of game it's good (The first two on Xbox were way better)

        • Do it. PC is better than console.
