I completed a solo run of the warlord's ruin dungeon after 117 minutes and 35 seconds of effort in the arena for the last boss.
I was not rewarded with the solo spelunker achievement so I may receive my Paragon guardian rank.
The description reads, "Complete either of the "Ghosts of the Deep" or "Warlord's Ruin" dungeons solo".
I've done so.
Please give me credit and change your description if the criteria are different.
And yes I utilized checkpoints. My hands stop working after three to four hours of gaming and cause me pain. I am asking specifically for Bungie to change their code to detect high-level accomplishments based on closed fire teams, checkpoints, and solo accomplishments through and to the end of this dungeon. NOT someone stealing the checkpoint and then just solo completing the boss. Thanks!

16 RepliesDungeon report says you did it from a checkpoint. Has to be a fresh run, from beginning to end. Can't leave or use checkpoints.

1 ReplyI agree dude! You should be able to solo each checkpoint individually for the accomplishment. Bungie just sucks at making anything fun. Just Stupid dumb moves all leading to the same empty shithole we have now. Echo, echo, echo! Me looking at my friends list that once had over a hundred buddy’s

1 ReplyUnfortunately for you, the use of checkpoints is not permitted for the soloing of a dungeon, and by extension, granting a Guardian "Paragon" status. Part of the challenge implemented by Bungie is the perseverance and fortitude required by a player to complete a dungeon in a single sitting. It's a marathon. So using that analogy, if you were to sign up for a ten mile marathon and you ran the entire route in a single session, as outlined by the event coordinators, but someone with weak knees asked to run it in 2.5 mile segments, BUT BE AWARDED THE SAME AS YOU, there's a fundamental difference in what each person did. You are asking to be awarded the same as players that met the developer's requirements, and that is where people are having an issue. The argument here isn't that you soloed the dungeon. The argument here is you shouldn't be recognized the same as a player who soloed the dungeon start to finish without leaving the activity as outlined in the game. I do feel that Bungie should offer some reprieve for players, and using CPs isn't a bad stepping stone. Personally, I feel having a challenge were CPs are permitted may entice players to then try a full run without leaving.

You are making yourself look like a fool. Good day

You’re asking them to recode something because of your health issues to accomplish something that’s completely optional and intended to be difficult… I don’t want to be that guy, but a full run takes 1-1.5 hours, if it’s taking you 3-4, you need to practice the run more.

3 RepliesYou’re going to have to do it again fresh. But I can assure you, soloing a dungeon for the second time is always immensely easier
-
10 RepliesLooks like you started from a CP - can't do that. Needs to be the entire dungeon for solo spelunker.
-
3 Repliesyou need a full run without checkpoints
-
9 RepliesGotta do the whole dungeon buddy. Not hard
-
1 ReplyUnfortunately, the without leaving requirement is Bungie’s only real way of limiting checkpoint usage. I feel your pain, I got axed from my solo ghosts of the deep run because of an internet outage while I was at the final boss. But in the end, Bungie wants this to be part of the “Difficulty”. It stinks, but I can understand

And yes I utilized checkpoints.
You have to do the whole thing in 1 run

You also need to do master crota by the way - and all encounters not just the boss

10 RepliesAccording to dungeon report you used a checkpoint, so if you left at any point and came back or if you received an error code/black screen and reloaded back into any instance then it won’t actually count for the triumph. For the Guardian Rank you actually need to complete the solo triumph for either of those dungeons, both of which state it must be done without leaving the activity.
