will I get banned because I don't know who to ask or where to find it
I'm using a 3rd party controller because it has a wireless function and other ergonomic comfort. But apparently, it is capable of turbo, I don't know how to use it nor am I interested in doing so. Will I get banned for a turbo-capable controller?
Or should I just stick with a crappy, expensive 1st party controller if no one's going to give me a straight answer?

Something like turbo might. Bungie used to allow devices like it but after people abused it by using systems that helped control weapon recoil in games they started cracking down on these devices.

5 Repliesas long as you are not doing, as Bungie says, "super human" things you will be fine, in other words, dont use turbo.

I'd say until you get a straight answer from a mentor or moderator, err on the side of caution and stick with a licensed controller.
