Yeah, I had to make a choice between money and doing what I wanted. I wanted to work in video games very badly. But, it just doesn’t pay. I could’ve put the same effort into publishing my own books, or selling character concepts to studios, or even starting my own webcomics. But, I wanted to work in games, and to do that I had to forgo a more financially rewarding career.
