unpopular opinion cause I’m self conscious+edgy
power metal is awful.
And through the fire and flames is only cool because it’s a guitar hero 3 meme.

I agree, but only 'cause the drum beat is always some repetitive variation of boot camp, booty camp, boot camp, booty camp x infinity with the same 3 or so fills as needed. That said, sometimes I need the cheesiest of cheese in aural form and there is no greater than power metal.

Was trying to think of any bands I liked, but I think those are considered "folk metal" Pure power metal just bores me though, like Sabaton is just Nickleback for those fake historians who only study world war stuff.
