Bungo you done stuffed up OEM is back for crayon eaters
Edit: this was originally posted in a fit of rage after a horrible comp game in which I got rolled by a bunch of players who were statistically poorer than man and we’re running 100 resilience 100 strength. Having now calmed down and seen the attention this post has attracted I’ll amend my quarrel, the entry level to what I’ll called skilled play, is for titan in particular too low, in essence I believe that it should be slightly harder to use the class out of the gate and there should be a high skill ceiling more on the level of warlock. I have a comment I’ll pin with me entire argument in it, for now enjoy my fit of rage
I just played a full team of titan using the new (old) exotic arms in comp and omg no, I’m not dealing with this again, enough of one subclass getting an extra 100hp for every gun fight just cause they embrace their inner ape and get an opening pick in the most brainless way possible ooo ooo ahh ahh
Let me just take this time to say it’s stupid and I want it gone pls and thankyou and I won’t be alone
All you crayon chewers who will inevitably come in here and try and tell me it’s balanced and it’s good and your class needed it, no, every time there is something and it’s getting a bit silly at this point

2 RepliesTitans are designed to be the first ones charging in and having enough HP to back it up hence the name TITAN. I don’t mind it, titans get to be actual tanks for playing like apes which was original design to begin with. Now we just need players to realize warlocks are mages so trying to nerf their ability to spam abilities is stupid. Everyone hates chaos reach so much and everyone hates how warlocks have a ranged melee with top tree dawn but those all behave like a mage would in any RPG. Anyway back to the topic, its not that big a deal, its easy to counter aping, stasis is still a thing. No matter how much health a titan gets, a simple stasis ability will easily counter them

Btw Sentinel is least played class in all of PvP. Has been for Years. What do You mean “Hunters and Skill?” LoL it literally EASYMODE THATS LITERALLY WHY THEY ALL CRUTCH ON REVENANT AND STOMPEES…. This game has been a Hunter simulator for YEARS… OPEN YOU EYES….

Im not going to try to get into a class war where I compare the corny stuff on titan to the corny stuff on the other classes, Im just going to say that as someone who plays every class as equally as possible i think it is pretty obvious that this exotic is not balanced for pvp and will be nerfed soon

You’re complaining about Synthoceps? Barricade? Still -blam!- about OEM? Nothing stasis related for Titans has been oppressive for a WHILE. Oh, and you’re complaining about the melee, so I can only assume you’re like, a bottom 1% player. Hunter main, I’m guessing.

I think the exotic is fine since it consumes the users force barrier energy. There are situations where getting a OHK is secured so using your melee isn’t ideal. If they’re using the exotic to the fullest, they’re going to ape you a lot of the time. I hate saying it, but you’re going to have to bait and counter. Just like the old OEM users.

I usually dont reply with posts that aren't constructive, but jumping onto a forum spiting venom onto people who play a class is just childish rubbish. Crayon Eater is a laughable but annoying term to people that play titan. PVP will never be balanced in Destiny - there is just far too many exotics and abilities that will always make one user OP over another (and vice versa). It comes down to allowing you to also adapt to a situation and maybe use an exotic/ability that can out do the opponents. Posting straight from a terrible Crucible game aint the best solution.

Hunters and skill ? Lol, sure takes a massive amount of it to glacier nade and shatter dive anything that pushes you, or roll on the ground everytime you posiotioned yourself poorly…. 🤦♂️ I can understand your point and think the overshields are stupid and annoying, but considering almost all of the abilities and perks Titans have revolve around running towards your opponent and punching them, it is no wonder the class is only really viable when you have something ”broken” available that enables you to do it with less risk.
