How is being frozen Fun?
Stasis is BS so much for PVP being fun. Stasis is just a wrong trait for PVP . Iron Banner was the event that I use to look forward to the most. It’s been ruined by Stasis.
Give players the option to play Stasis free PVP

2 RepliesI hate being frozen in stasis so much that I probably play the game one day a fortnight, compared to 3/4 times a week. Stasis ruined PvP & whilst the changes have been better than what it once was the core issue is the ability to fully stop a guardian and for that guardian to not be able to defend themselves, shoot back, move etc. It is not fun. At least with tether you can shoot back even if movement is slowed. That is what I hate about it. It brings me too many negative experiences. Which sucks after playing the franchise as much as i have over the years. Also as far as I am concerned if you need to stop a moving target to shoot them you should probably rethink the games you play. I really would like to understand how in its original form stasis was actually fun.

However, it's not just being frozen, also being slowed down is so terribly annoying. No wonder there are players that when they see 6 Stasis users in the Opponent Team they decide to leave the game.

1 ReplyHonestly, it’s just the supers themselves that I find problematic. If I’m running Banner Shield/Sentinel Shield then I see no reason why a Shadebinder can cast [i][b]projectiles[/b][/i] and freeze me while I’m actively guarding with my Shield. It’s just dumb.

2 RepliesIts a double penalty because your frozen and cant quickly die so the other team if any good will always win. You can't get back in and fight. Shaxx sorry mate can't do it because you let stasis ruin PVP.

It's not fun. The developers must have been a sleep when they created stasis and no player testing took place. There is no player that would have ever said being frozen was fun.

In spite of a few players that Love Stasis because it’s a crutch class the fact is slowing a fast paced game is wrong! Leave Stasis in PVE Remove it from PVP. Let’s get back to fast balanced game play.

People always complain when their favorite crutch plays are negated. Sliding shotty types hate stasis, but shotty play is still super popular anyway. Maybe it isn’t as bad as people think.

You see bungie? You nerfed hunters and people still complain, please give us our freeze back... it was hella fun. Decrease the time enemies in pvp are frozen. And allow the fragment to increase the time to its current original freeze time.

9 RepliesThe problem with stasis is that there's often no counter play to it. You can't do anything when someone freezes you around a corner with a grenade then you get teamshotted before you can unfreeze. Even aside from that, there's a massive imbalance in supers. So many times I've thrown a flaming hammer into a lock or titan in thier super only to take them to 50% hp and then they turn and one shot me. Yeah....great. Supers should be able to counter supers, not be drastically weaker and therefore next to redundant.
