Outbreak should spawn warmind cells
Would make the weapon more popular and also makes sense, since it’s a siva weapon which was heavily associated with rasputin

2 RepliesSIVA was a seperate project from rasputin and technically he wasn't supposed to even know about it. ontop of that isn't outbreak a weapon developed by the cryptarchs?

Oh wait they can just put the seraph weapons back in the loot pool to regrind for because the current ones are no different. Just sunset because CONTENT BABY *jazz hands* what a joke. *EDIT* My loadout for everyday activities usually consists of Seraph Carbine, SMG, and Xeno. All 3 produce them and the war mind cells can spawn others as well. It's a warmind cell fest and that build is an absolute blast. I conveyed my frustration poorly. I know warmind cells will continue on other weapons but it sucks my favorite load out will be obsolete soon and really any load out in time because... This sunsetting is an absolute piss poor design. I was originally open minded to it but nothing NEW has me excited for what I am LOSING. That's kind of the main argument I have here. But thank you for offering some different things to try!!!

I think every weapon should create warmind cells if the mod is equipped, and there needs to be a way for new players to get the mods from the earlier seasons that doesn’t involve a daily rng table.

1 ReplyFor Sleeper Simulant sure, for Outbreak no. If Outbreak had cells it would feel bloated and inconsistent in the theme. The cells are Seventh Seraph tech, not SIVA. Outbreak could have a buff sure since I feel like it's a glorified dragonfly, but I'd like to see it keep a heavy SIVA focus not a Warmind one.

Siva was created by Braytech, not rasputin. Rasputin used them as tools, he didn't create them. So no, it's not a warmind weapon.

1 ReplyOutbreak should spawn warmind cells so rasputin can protect places like the dust palace..because it's lost to us..again..Back in Cabal hands. Word is they've let Psion Flayers out of their cages, to dig around in the Central AI's Cortex. Which means they really want what's buried in there. If Rasputin was protecting it, it's valuable. We've got to flush those Flayers out.

Correct me if I’m wrong but you need at least 1 warmind armor mod equipped for warmind cells to even drop from seraph weapons. So even if Bungie made a change and allowed Outbreak to drop the cells, it wouldn’t last because of the expiration date on all warmind mods.

Sleeper maybe but that’s just because, let’s face it, Sleeper could use a pick me up. Outbreak is kind of like Rat King where it’s in a good place and(imo) Bungie shouldn’t touch it bc they’d risk making it useless and/or broken.

I’d love it too but man that guns already got a lot going for it. Warmind cells make below average guns nutty good and that things got boss dps and above average ad clear going for it already although it might be interesting if warmind cell capable weapons became a mod like unstoppable or barrier and it just rotated what weapon class gets it each season?
