3 RepliesRift is the one game mode where if you aren't in a communicating team, aka a six stack, you're just wasting your time. Saw enough of it in D1 that I'm glad it hasn't returned. It would be different if people actually used their headsets and teamspeak again, but nobody does in the rando department. Secondly you have to consider that nobody plays the objective in Control or other game modes. So how do you think that will work in a gamemode where you only win by playing the obj? "Listen pronoobsniper6969, it's great that you have a 2bajillion k/d ratio, but we lost because your dumbass was too busy working on your next montage to play the game. So congrats on being the best of the losers." If anyone want to copy and paste that quote for use when rift actually goes live, feel free. I won't even ask for royalties.

3 RepliesOnce ppl remember or new players find out the spawns dont flip in Rift and are repeatedly spawn killed over and over by stacked teams. The game mode will most certainly be dead within 2-3 weeks. So Bungie doesn’t need to waste the resources on it. Hope Bungie passes on this request. D2 has much bigger issues to combat atm.

That first Rift Iron Banner was one of my best times in D1 crucible. The one time the fast fingered kids didn't always get the win. What was the map with the railway bridge where the rift spawned on the middle of the trucks? Loved that. Aye, bring it back.

I would just settle for momentum control being permanent instead of on the rotator list.

They have a couple maps that would suit rift quite well. Though I think it sucks, dreaming city- Citadel, would actually be perfect for rift. It’s not really big and has a similar lay out to one of the maps in D1
