Why in the nine hells of Destiny do you guys make an activity that is impossible to finish with 3 people and still place them in an area where there are only 3 people per fireteam allowed?
I don't care for the stupid title, I just want the mods. Nearly impossible without spending 2 hours in finding a complete team for a 9-minutes activity. This is insane.

5 RepliesThe sad part is the feedback since Escalation was that these Public event horde mods need MM.. Every time they put one out.. #1 feedback. Bungie flat out ignores us or is completely inept. Pick one.
-
1 ReplyCause they’re anti player, both on purpose and by mistake.

1 ReplyEdited by akyruz: 5/4/2020 11:35:51 AMThe Seraph Tower event was bad.... now it's unplayable. The difficulty change was the final nail in the coffin for it. Also, since this game is a bounty simulator, whenever you find people, everyone is just focused on their mindless kill farming... not caring about the event objective. I see a lot of people saying things like: "it was easy with 6 people from lfg, blah blah.... doenst make it better and doesnt solve the problem that this activity is poorly designed. (I got the title too, with random people... because the stars aligned... nothing more... its almost impossible to turn it heroic as it is now). Bungie should either revert the activity to its previous mechanics or find a way to extend the timer by killing mini, bosses. I think allowing 6 ppl fireteams for a patrol area is off the charts right now...

1 ReplyVery, VERY poorly designed. The event is so obnoxious and so useless (got all my mods before the change) that I did the thing ONCE for the triumph and I will not touch it at all for the next five weeks AKA effectively never again. Game design FAIL.

2 RepliesEdited by FootlooseEye312: 5/4/2020 10:33:09 AMIt’s near impossible now . Tried to make a 5 man fire team found out u can only invite 3 using lfg it’s not enough. Best I get so far is 80% complete before timer runs out. It needs matchmaking 5 plus. or reverted back to where it was. or a adjustment to the time.

i got a better question why fallen captain doesnt have to reload his rocket launcher, just shoots like crazy, teleports every 500ms, when you almost kill him you see already next one is runing to you and in 2 seconds you have to start same shit, dont know who will and when throw those balls. same shit is in gambit, taken, scorn shoot without reload, even that machine gun is nerfed cos cabal one has more power and kills in 3-4 shots with 90 resilience

1 ReplyCurrently im the only person in my clan with the almighty title, i lucked out on the day i decided to farm for it, someone sent me a party invite to get more people in a party, so it worked out, 9 of us were doing it and we got it second try, got me my 8th seal

9 RepliesIt's because when you get higher light level, you don't need 9 people to beat it. If you need 9 people, it's because people need to level up more. It's meant to be more difficult at the beginning and easier when people level up.

I start most strikes by myself, something is seriously wrong with match making but hey eververse is better then ever
-
Love that a Seal title is dependent on the RNG of getting enough people in one instance who know how to actually run the event. Well done folks Guess that’s BungieLogica

Stupid as most their decisions

You got this👍

11 RepliesProbably need to git gud

If you are not a streamer/YouTuber you are just wasting your time here bud

Ya know,..I really thought that Trials would he the main point of frustration during this season. I rather enjoyed the casualness of it all until they updated the Seraph Tower ball throwing thing. I got it done, and dare I say I thoroughly enjoyed the more challenging version. BUT and there's always a butt In the name of everything that was, is and shall be unholy, holy, or otherwise...WHYDOTHEYDOTHISTOPEOPLEWHOINVESTINTHEIRGAMEISWEARTOTHETRAVELER? My career is nowhere close to developing video games, and even I could have foreseen that tragedy.

The true Triumph isn’t to complete the activity and never fail a cycle. The true Triumph is organize or be part of a 9 person fire team Once you get 9 people. You allocate 3 per plate and it’s pretty straight forward. Hell I did it with people who spoke a different language! Found a group on LFG.

There wasn't a lot to the encounter, but at least it was managable. Bungie improved on the Vex Incursion mechanics with the Sundial and I actually enjoyed that activity. Seraph Towers isn't just bad because it's difficult and stupid. It's bad because players who spawn in the zone usually are not interested in helping you if you start the activity and that's not totally Bungie's fault.

God I'm glad I quit before I had to sweat this stupid shit. The amount of faith they put in people who can't even manage to not sabotage a PE from going heroic is comical.

6 RepliesEdited by x_olddog_x: 5/4/2020 11:16:22 AMOnly possible using EP strat, ran it once with 3 fireteams of 3, 3 and 2 plus a random blueberry who joined in. Prior to this was trying with all randoms and it was just a shitshow.

1 ReplyEven if you got your 9 men team it's near impossible to do flawless. Some did it but it's insanely hard. For me every Raid or GM NF is way easier. We tried for many Hours and most times we even finished the event on EDZ and Moon but never flawless. Some say do Moon with Hive cause they seem to be the only Enemys which don't jump or teleport on the plates in exactly the wrong moment.

2 RepliesBecause bungie have managed to successfully stop a social game being social Something else to add to the list Social features - bungied

4 RepliesGo to anchor send 2 guardians party invites. When you have 3 players in area create lfg for 5 others, state they must join party. Then invite players to your instance. Simple.

I totally agree. Activity difficulty should reflect fireteam size. Any open world activity should be designed to be completed by 3 people. They may not get it done 1st try, but it should at least be doable. If Bungie wants harder events that require more than 3 people then those activities need matchmaking. Before the update I would join an event in progress because 3-4 people could complete it. Now... 3-4 people don't stand a chance so I don't even bother with it anymore. I finally got the Hardcoded Victory with clan mates and 2 blueberries. It took over an hour of trying to get everyone into the same instance. Once we got 9 people in it took us 3 attempts to get the triumph done. The 1st run was getting familiar with the add spawns and the 2nd run failed due to a teleporting Hydra. It wasn't too bad with 9 people, but it was a total pain in the rectal vector getting everyone grouped up. If it wasn't for the triumph I wouldn't have even bothered with it.

We need matchmaking for all activities like this
-
Has any streamer team of 3 completed the perfect run.. or even a completion?
-
Didn’t need that title anyway. This season has, without a doubt, redefined just exactly how bad seasonal content can get.
