As long as there are weapons of mass destruction that take forever to get pvp is broken.
Moments of triumph pinnacle weapons forget it.
AFK , bad connection , sweeties and all the other crap that is competitive.
Make the quest line doable for all players not just those with no life.
I have a family and work. The others like me would like to enjoy the game also

There’s a difference between having no life and have some skill when it come to pvp. If you can’t reach 2100 on your own, the problem is you. Not the game.

I agree with you... i'm not bad at pvp... not great either, but the grind to fabled solo is harsh! Rarely do i get a game where my team mates carry me to a win. More often than not i will be one of the only positive efficiency players on my team while the other team destroys us! Matchmaking is a -blam!-! It's almost like it knows you're on a streak so puts you with a load of cabbages! And you are right... there is a lot of AFK or quitting... sometimes as early as if your team dies 1st! Need a good team!!!!

Don't play comp solo. You're gonna hate the game. It's mind-blowing that a pvp activity in 2019 is so broken.

Edited by NerfPaladins06: 8/23/2019 10:44:10 PMYou don't really need to be skilled tactics wise to get 2100. I'm not very tactical beyond watching radar > point and shoot bad guys. What you do need to do is experiment with what gear / class / subclass setup works best for you. You can't stubbornly run your favorites. My friend mains warlock but found top tree nightstalker hunter worked best for him. I typically run Jotunn and pulse in freeplay but found these weren't working for me in comp. I ended up being pretty good at running overwhelming opponents with the combined firepower of Last Word + arc souls from bottom tree stormcaller and Getaway Artist gloves. Arc souls also help your allies with a little extra damage and can often snag some free kills on opponents you're not even paying attention to.

7 RepliesIt’s serious bs. Everytime I get on a win streak I get booted or load into a match 1vs4, and then go on a losing streak that costs all the points. It’s like the game is intentionally trying to screw you, I only ever have connection issues when playing competitive. Either that, or the cheaters are still running rampant.

It’s matchmaking luck no doubt. If u run w a team your odds will be better & (fabled) will be doable in one session. I got lucky on a 15 win streak while soloing and made it from 0-fabled in one run. However every season before this its been: win, lose, lose, win, lose, win, lose, lose, lose, win, lose lol. Weird that when I finally get decent team mates/play other solos I’m able to jump to fabled in a night...

Who are these sweeties that you speak of. They sound like nice folk.

Always wondered why in forums there are those self appointed super heroes that no all.

2 RepliesDoesn't broadsword count as a pinnacle weapon?? If so just get that for the triumph.

4 RepliesMoments of triumph are a celebration of the game. Pvp, pve, Gambit, raids the lot. They won't exclude one activity because you're too bone idle to team up and get stuff done.

Sweeties are the worst... They are so nice that you can't bring yourself to fight them.

There are no weapons of mass destruction. I have all pvp pinnacles and have gotten beyond fabled solo every season without using them, except for Lunas howl (for the kills needed for NF, in case I ever get to legend) . Next season will bring about a solo glory que where performace is apparently factored in for glory gains and losses. This is a great change for solo player agency.

If you’re trying to solo it you’re right it’s pretty hard, the game does need a skill based match making but that can’t really be a thing right now🤷♂️ the good news is they are bring in something for shadow keep next season if you do solo so you might have a better luck who knows if you vibe well with people you played who where solo you could make a team which I think would help a lot. The quest I think that is bad is Mountaintop it has to much luck in it and just about requires a cheese.... as the others.... they aren’t that bad they should require a skill or a grind level not over the top but I’d say it should take 3-7 days if you played about an hour or 2 at most... and that’s for a low bracket meaning your okay but not a god.... People don’t understand just cause people have a weapon doesn’t mean they are good... but people who are good that can only obtain that weapon from such high skill.... that’s a bit much it limits people who play against those weapons. Hints why they hit Luna’s howl and Not forgotten and granted they kind of needed a lower rate of fire cause that ttk is hard to beat when so few weapons could match it reliably like those could. I’m all for rewarding a good player but don’t punish the causal guy that bad. They should be able to compete now like I said they won’t be top tier just cause they have a weapon no that takes practice and that’s where the skilled player comes in and shines and that’s his/her reward is the wins and the plays not the I have a weapon and you don’t therefore I’m better.... instead it needs to be we both have the weapon but I know how to use it more than you.... it more encouraging to get better than to be left at a level you can’t really claw your way out of in some cases. Hopefully they’ll keep fixing things but they are doing a few things right of late in the resent patches. Good luck though and try for next season in shadow keep they are changing up the sandbox a lot so I’m interested and think it might slowly be more welcoming.
