The amount of bright dust required to obtain everything is a joke. I’m someone who plays a lot of Destiny, I’m above 92k triumph score with 2k hours playtime(most of the 2k are since forsaken). I had 40-50k bright dust before the Season of Opulence and I’m now at 1k, I have to admit that i wasted 8k because I bought 3 tributes without the discount. Nevertheless I spent at least 30k in the last 2 months to get everything this season and with all the stuff from this event it’s simply too much to be honest. The stuff is either to expensive or the bounties you can do to earn bright dust are just not rewarding you enough bright dust to be able to buy half of the stuff. I’m completely ok with emotes for example you can just buy with silver, but I am forced to buy silver rn if I want all the seasonal stuff. It was good before and I don’t know why you changed it Bungie. If you want to buy everything this week you already have to pay 15k, all the glows for the armor is another 15k, that’s already 30k how am I supposed to earn this? And that’s just 1 week of the event and the event lasts 4 weeks? That’s 60k bright dust just for the event. There needs to be a change. Something like just getting exotics out of the best of year one engrams, that’s at least 500 bright dust per engram.

You need more upvote. Time to use the hashtag again so Bungie maybe understand. #RemoveEververse
-
But they’re an independent company with a free to play game, how can they support themselves REEEE You aren’t supposed to be able to buy everything with bright dust REEEE Just dismantle your exotic eververse items REEEE Just do the eververse bounties REEEE So fckin sick of hearing these answers to your argument. Have an upvote, and my agreeance.

13 Repliesthe more players leave (most D2 buyers already did), the more you remaining guys get milked ;) and no, its not activision to blame ... cosmetics are also part of the game you paid for , if you accept them to sell it to you twice you dont deserve any better

2 RepliesThat Tribute Hall thing was meant to make impatient players waste bright dust and other materials. If you waited until 80 percent discount through the bounties it was okay. Now these impatient players don't have materials anymore so they can still get stuff but now need to pay for it or get more patient. :)

5 RepliesYou can tell the difference between D1 and D2 players.... in D1 if you were lucky to get 1 Exotic every month or two you were overly excited, in D2 if a player cant have something on day 1 they through a tantrum.
-
2 RepliesHow do you go through that much Bright Dust? I stayed at around 90k throughout the whole season and have nearly every Eververse exotic/ ornament in the game. 50k in one season? WtF. Sorry but that is a you problem. You’re having buyers remorse because you cannot control your impulses.

I dont mind about how much cosmetics cost or if our dust is drained with meaningless tasks. In my opinion problem is actual playable content in the future. Will they add challenging, fun content or just focus on meaningless shit like eververse. Im afraid it might be latter. As a matter a fact I wouldnt be too surprised if Destiny 3 is a mobile game. That way people can buy re-skins 24/7 without the hassle of turning pc/console on.

2 RepliesDamn, I thought I was sitting pretty with my 69.5k triumph score.

1 ReplyThis isn't rocket science to get these....
-
7 RepliesJust dont buy it... The armor is fckin ugly anyway Be smarter then all the dumb morons who spend real money on this bullshit event
-
3 RepliesGood job! You fell victim to what Bungie planned! Be mindful that when Shadowkeep rolls out, anything Eververse that normally dismantles into dust is going to then dismantle into legendary shards. Couple that with all these recent updates asking for mountains of dust as payment.. Put 2 and 2 together. Their goal is to entice people to drain all of their dust. That way when the next season begins and all the new interesting items come around, Silver sales are further encouraged as you won't have any other means to purchase said items. Don't complain about it. Just simply don't buy Silver. Ever. If people were wise enough to these tricks and never bought Silver en masse, we wouldn't be where we are now.

2 RepliesCry more please
-
Bungie wanted to make everyone spend their bright dust so when they add the good stuff in $$$verse they have to use silver instead.
-
Doing the event in the first place at all is your first problem

3 RepliesEdited by Subzero_My_Hero: 7/31/2019 1:29:22 PMIf you played nearly 2k hours since Forsaken, and you dont have any or much dust left, the problem is you, not the system. I'm sure you probably wasted 20k rolling ghost shells to get planetary combo detectors, reaquiring ships at 5 times the cost, ect... You even admitted to "wasting" dust on the tribute hall. These are are personal decisions you made. Dont cry poor now, you did an awful job of maintaining your dust for that amount if time played.

11 RepliesI have never seen anything in the Eververse store that I have been tempted to spend real money on. You are all insane.

BRING BACK THE ENGRAMS BUNGIE
-
1 ReplyI just heard a streamer tell his chat that there’s nothing wrong with “Bungie’s monetization” When I asked said streamer to elaborate........crickets. We all know Season of Opulence isn’t that at all. It’s a resource grab.
-
So you were impatient and spent all of your materials instead of waiting for the discount. Then you throw a temper tantrum because you can't get all of the event items 2 days into a month long event . This folks is the product of "every one is special" and participation trophies for everyone. Well kid you have to make choices and can't have everything.
-
Well... you could’ve either spent the dust on one imaginary thing, or another imaginary thing. You chose the one imaginary thing. Don’t be upset if you regret the decision, by now everyone should be caught up mentally and emotionally to Bungie’s in-game economy. No regerts1
-
So ridiculously over that i gave up immediatly. Just playing crucible and so on before shadowkeep. Skipping whole eververse event.
-
Just forget about the stupid glows. You'll never use the damn armor after 30 minutes I to shadowkeep anyways. I look at this event as something to provide purpose and focus while grinding for materials/shards/cores for the dlc.
-
I'm sorry for your situation, but you were alot better off than most people with your 50k bright dust, unfortunately you made a decision that you will now regret ...I do think you have the time to make the bright dust up though. I am also down really low but I never had anything near what you have had ,and I pick up all of the bounties, but I am still hopeful :D
-
4 RepliesAlmost seems like they are draining the bright dust collection just in time for Shadowkeep. So it will be almost a necessity to purchase things through Eververse.
-
1 Replypsst... you know you don't have to have everything, right? Why are you stressing over a video game?
