25 RepliesEdited by TheShadow-cali: 6/3/2019 2:55:07 PMIn lighter terms, it's a bunch of nonsense that as a developer knowing what they actually did for the vendors in D1. It's lazy knowing they haven't done diddly-squat in D2 but the bare minimum. I installed the game last night after not playing for a good couple months and each season that has gone by nothing has really been done with the vendors at all. Call this negative or whatever anyone wants. (I don't care) because this is stupid... The first thing I noticed loading into the tower? it's been over a year and the lovely spectating issue of having to watch other gamers running around the tower from their view having no control over it. Awesome! What a great way to start out. I made the biggest mistake in this game and that was to collect over 4 thousand weapon parts and saved them, that's not including all crucible tokens, vanguard tokens I collected. Stupid me thinking Bungie would have at least try to fix the duplicate issue in this game that is beyond absurd. I spent a good half an hour running back and forth between the vendors and the postmaster deleting everything. It was literally a pure waste of my time because nothing has been done about the vendors, yet it is so damn easy for Bungie to make sure Tess gets that attention they want. I will play this last part out of the Annual Pass for a bit but after this, because the lack of effort put into this game I'm done until D3. There is no excuse for things like factions that haven't been brought back to this game that should have been back 6 months ago. The vendors getting properly updated among many other things not being updated to at least try to keep the game relevant, (No excuse at all.) What, using factions as a carrot is a thing now, is this how this game works, throw thing in there to try to keep what player base they have left instead of actually doing their job to (improve the game?)

15 RepliesWhy the -blam!- do you care? Were you stupid enough to buy Silver and spend it? Just being a dumbass Bandwagon Troll? You are one or the other. Take your pick and move along

1 ReplyWhat’s really funny is that ppl get so upset over cosmetics that do not effect gameplay.....
-
5 RepliesEdited by Lost Frames: 6/3/2019 6:57:16 PMBungie knows they can't bring anyone back so there milking what playerbase they have left

Gotta keep those incompetent developers over paid. Reskinned content is expensive.
-
1 ReplyInteresting.....they gotta keep eververse fresh and sell new stuff so they can pump out that free cont........oh......wait
-
18 RepliesOmfg it's all misc cosmetic shit anyways. Who cares. It doesn't effect any part of any of the gameplay.

3 RepliesI may be wrong but it looks to me like tess is basically silver exclusive if you want new stuff
-
Yeah, its almost as if there is $NO MOTIVATION$ to update the other vendors and make them useful.

1 ReplyYou make some valid points and i agree that eververse must be removed from this game but, Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold

3 RepliesEdited by KitsuneSonow: 6/4/2019 2:38:45 PMFanboys will make excuses for the laziness regardless. First, they said it would fund free content for the rest of the players going forward. When that was a lie they tried to say "no one said that". Then it was because they were working for Activision and were forced to do it to make money. Fanboys stood by this excuse for the longest time (Despite Bungie themselves saying they did it because creating content was too hard). Even during that time fanboys swore up and down that if Bungie ever left Activision they would start focusing more on actual content and less on MT's and would even listen to the players once they had more freedom. But lo' and behold, after splitting with Activision they doubled down on MT's. Prices were raised, loot pools were bloated, the shop itself is being expanded over everything else the community has asked for, and for good measure they have slowly started weeding out any way possible to make it easier for players to get items like removing the prismatic matrix. Now it's "B-but they need the money, s-so you can't blame them". If they want more money they should actually put some damn effort into the actual game instead of their virtual storefront. Can't wait til Destiny 3 when eververse is even bigger and we have even less actual in-game options and fanboys defend that as well.

Hey man... You guys already paid for the annual pass, so they can't get that money again. Gotta squeeze it out of you with eververse. Enjoy your 40 minutes of new shit to do this week.

2 RepliesI have never made a silver purchase and have gotten everything (minus the silver cosmetics) from Tess.

They should at least be refreshing the vanguard and crucible vendor every season. That should be a given. I have yet to find my 30 dollars worth from this annual pass. Them drip feeding the little content they made for each dlc is a turn off. Spreading that content over three months doesn't make it look like more. Hopping in again to see how the season of opulence will be, but already hearing bad things about ever verse, hope this doesn't speak for the rest of the content. Love destiny and Want to get back into this game but they just don't make anything worth while coming back to...
-
people predicted this when they sneaked in eververse into d1 because they werent capable to deliver content as per contract
-
I wouldn't mind as much if the vanguard and crucible got a refresh every season. But literally 50-60 items get added to eververse every season and other vendors get reskins or nothing. Bungie make plenty of money by selling dlcs and the annual pass, no excuse in my book.

3 RepliesEdited by AlteraLateralus: 6/3/2019 1:06:22 PMBefore, with each dlc, there would be new armor and weapons for Crucible, Vanguard, Dead Orbit, New Monarchy, Future War Cult, Iron Banana, and the new raid. Nowadays, only Eververse and Iron Banner get brand new armor, the raid only gets a few weapons, and sometimes (raid lair) the raid armor is just a reskin. No vendors get new armor or weapons, Vanguard and Crucible only get them once a year, the factions have vanished. Seems like at least the same amount of effort could be put into 2 as they did one.

I really hate this also. Been saying this for months. Where the hell y'all been.
-
Tired of it wIt till you try the nerfed exotics
-
...And yet I'm a little excited for what's gonna be there.

10 RepliesVanguard and crucible get some refreshes. Unless youre talking about all the other planet vendors? Yeah, that is trully way too much work. Especially since of you guys trash 95% of the loot anyway. No reason to divert energy in updating old planet vendors.
-
It’s not funny its bs , now if the other venders got a refresh alone with eververse id be good . As it stands not good .

1 ReplyWell most of the reward are free from rank up and we’ve seen them emplacement cosmetics into loot (nightfall transmat effect, outbreak ship)
