No one making public events heroic
Why is no one making the public events on the Tangled Shore (or anywhere else) heroic anymore?! I have been in areas where there is 4+ guardians, excluding myself, level 50 and at least 600 power and i am the only one trying to make it heroic for the benefit of everyone else. Its just frustrating sometimes.

Put in my 2 cents further down this thread but came back for a look as someone replied. Wow. Just... wow. "Can't be bothered/Not worth it/ Waste of time/ No decent rewards/Only if I have to for quests ", etc. Delete as applicable. I hope Bungle have taken note of this thread due to its sheer size, because there's a simple yet effective compromise possible here: One enhancement core for every heroic PE completion anywhere in the system, including Blind Well and Escalation Protocol level 7 boss kill. Simples, surely?

4 RepliesThere is no direct benefit to do so on some planets. Especially Earth or Nessus. You can bang regular ones out faster then either warp to the same area again or another just about to start.

This drives me up a wall. I dont understand why people [i]wouldn't[/i] want to do the heroic public events here. You get more ghost fragments and it's less grindy when you hit the max stack

You want to make the PE heroic? Here lemme help you with that by rushing the boss kill. I already have my 12 or 15 ghost fragments. And 2 tokens and a blue killed me a long time ago.

The problem is rewards and the mindset of “Get it done and over with.”

In the case of the Cabal drill, it's much quicker to turn it heroic and kill the boss than stand in the circle until 100%.

Unless Heroic events give me some shards or something then idc if its Heroic or not

Take a look at this forum. A lot of the trolls here play this game. If they behave like this here of course they are going to act pathetic and try to screw people trying to make public events heroic. This is why match making on raids and nightfalls would undoubtedly fail.

25 RepliesTo everyone who says it isn’t worth it, then don’t do it. Go away. Don’t bother with the event. Just because you find it worthless, doesn’t mean the others share your feelings. Maybe they need it to be heroic. Maybe they are trying to level up. Get flash point done. A quest. Have some empathy. Yikes.

2 Repliesi see alot of post stating its a waste of time going Heroic. fine. for some thats true. play the you want. the issue i find frustrating is when its obvious that some gaurdians are attempting to trigger it Heroic and you have others just wailing on the boss.... either help....or join and just leave. save even more time. :=)

1 ReplyIts seems its a mix between " takes too long" and/or " not worth the rewards." I guess most guardians see this as being a "job or chore" and not fun to do making events heroic. But how is a measly a few extra mins to help out other guardians who may need the extra % on flashpoints or quests be a problem. Whats the rush? I just hope you don't treat your gf/wife with that same attitude. "Babe, i just wanted to finish fast so i can continue watching the game!"

Because for most people there is little to no point. The extra "rewards" are minimal at best and not really worth much. On top of that most of their chores only ask that they complete public events, not make them heroic, so why would they bother wasting more time, they have more chores to get to after all. Maybe if making them heroic gave at least a statistically possible chance of giving an exotic they would bother, but they don't. They have about the same chance of giving you one as you have getting them randomly off of a random kill. Sadly their usefulness has plumited, and with it the motivation to make them heroic has as well.

I try my best to make them heroic, especially for the FP, bit I have seen more and more people just doing regular PE. Also helps out with the Clan EXP for the week doing heroic.

Bounties, they are looking for the fastest way to completion. No one cares for the rewards or xp.

Its usually because making the public events heroic on Tangled shore are hard for your average blueberry. Takes too much for them if you think about it. Crypod, killing that boss takes seconds. The concept of holding back damage, shooting the events, throwing the ball at the boss while the floor is freezing is way too much work. As for the ether ritual, a solo player can probably shoot at those ether fog balls, but its tricky

It’s because you are not in a fireteam of people trying to make the event heroic. It’s a lost cause to hope that people you get matched with randomly in a video game want to do exactly the same thing you do. If you are doing this for “the benefit of everyone else” cease your efforts when you see they’re not with you on it. If they thought making the event heroic was to thier benefit that is what they would be doing. Of course if you’re doing it for yourself for your benefit and are just annoyed people don’t want the same outcome then that’s a bit selfish.

6 RepliesI sympathize with your comments,titan is one of the worst,i think some players Won't play public events Because the rewards are not that great,or they like spoiling it for others. Improve the rewards,speed up matchmaking times and educate guardians in the ways of how to Run a public event correctly and finally monitor players who repeatedly spoil public events deliberately for others,give a warning in the first instance then if it continually continues and as a last resort,ban the Offender from public events for a period of time.

Is there any point? They just take longer and gave up doing spider bounties moons ago. The sheer riveting happiness I got doing these bounties turned me into such a bubbly, shining ray of excitement and effervescent fluffy joy. My heart just couldn’t handle the excitement and had to stop.
