PC player here, can I get some console players to help me do some science?
I would like to test instances of bloom. I want to see how bloom affects bullet trajectory on Various hand cannons, mostly 140 and 150 RPM hand cannons.
How I want you to test for me.
Find a clean, lightly colored wall.
Stand no more than 20m from the wall, and no closer than 15m.
Shoot 2 times as fast as possible., and report where the second shot goes. aim to the right or left, and test again.
150 RPM's should hit up and to the right on the second shot.

2 RepliesThere are videos of this on YouTube. Bloom works with all the shots going in different places if you aim at the same spot, your test would only show recoil

4 RepliesThis test will just show recoil not bloom.

This has been done countless times . There’s videos on YouTube that go pretty in depth on this . When I get back I’ll look them up if you can’t find it . As a pc player now and a hand canon user the difference between hand canons on pc compared with console is crazy. Now I love me some consoles but destiny 2 is really at a disadvantage on console not just the FPS but the recoil movements bloom . It sucks :(

Bump so we can find somebody with the equipment to do this.

5 RepliesBloom on console is either bad, or ok, as I Like to call it "Ghost Bullets". How bad is it? Not too bad, but on The Last Word it's just Horrible in the Crucible with aiming, shooting it after 5 bullets, your looking up at the clouds, which is what it is effecting it. The worse the stability and the faster firing, the worse the bloom is. That basically sums it up for that.
