Would pay for Enhancement cores
Okay. I know this will be a unpopular thread but hear me out.. This is wishful thinking, but if Bungie were to put Enhancement cores in they Eververse, for say 20 Enhancement cores for 5 dollars, Id immediately drop 60 bucks on them, immediately.. Why? Well there seems to be this artificial scarceness when it comes to masterwork cores..
Instead of being able to use the weapons and armor I want, I jus cant.. I cant test out build diversity, of infuse any exotics (I have exotics I never touched because of power level) I have a vault full of loot, I just never got to touch, due to masterwork cores.. Bungie tries to pretend Enhancement cores provide some meaningful feeling of progression when in truth, playing the game an gear drops are progression, masterwork cores are just a artificial system they implemented to keep you from immediately equipting the gear you want, thus your crippling your self, and your team by not having the gear and build diversity to adapt to every scenario in pve/pvp..
To simplify things, theres all this content in the game that I cant even access, because I dont have the Enhancement cores.. Also, by buying them 20 for 5 bucks, it helps me and puts cash in Bungie wallet to improve upon the game..

2 RepliesI think this would be very close to the line of "pay to win", which Bungie should steer very clear of if they want to maintain eververse. Things like Iron banner are light level enabled, so you could argue that players can buy cores to infuse their meta weapons straight away, while others have to play the game to get them. They will be implementing gunsmith bounties which will provide a source of cores, so we will see if the economy improves after this. Personally ive never have an issue of not having cores. I always make sure to buy 2 a day from spider, use the matterweaves to get one dropped from a high level enemy & do scrapper bounties when i can.
