Ok. So this is obviously a theory and even I am not fully convinced, but 80% of me is so here I go! Take a look at Mars. It was terraformed by Vex technology... What does this have to do with anything? Simple. The Traveler has the ability to terraform, like the Vex did. Titan was affected by the Traveler and is now covered in water. Another example is in some Vex lost sectors there are strange particles floating around. These seem - at least to me - to be 2D pixel versions of Ghosts. These pixels are created by the Vex. The third example is this - Vex can track the light. We see this with the Osiris trailer. This means they have a large idea of how the light works, or at least some Vex - such as the Vex’s black heart - do. My last point - and this is a huge stretch - they don’t FULLY attack the light. Let me explain this the best I can. They have the ability to time travel AND bring hundreds to thousands of Vex from multiple timelines to one spot. So why not go back to before the Traveler started making Risen and fight the survivors? The only logical explanation is the Traveler was created by their own technology and they dare not destroy their own creation. [u]Why would the Traveler not obey Vex if it was created by it? It can be an AI like system that, like Rasputin, turns against it’s creators and makes itself a third party, so to speak.[/u] This is all I have to say, for now. Let me know if you come across anything else that can prove this as true or even more false. I’m all ears. Edit : While they can’t technically time travel they can go through time... it’s a strange argument, or so I’ve heard.
