Why I play the trickster adventure over and over
So I can remember what an exotic looks like since it’s been weeks since I’ve seen a real one

It could just be a drop. This morning I finished doing the Titan heroic daily mission last minute lol, before the reset but after the initial update. The reward? Shards of Galanor. Literally the exotic I've been waiting for, too! Never saw an engram.

1 ReplyI’ve gotten a few drops, not forsaken, but repeats. Used mostly for infusion. This is frustrating, but what to me is insult over injury, is exotic ships and sparrows in the same loot pool as weapons and armor, juste because they are “exotic” too. That to me is Bungie trolling us. Low drop rates and when you get one, is a ship!!! Why oh Why!!!

7 RepliesBut you can’t replay it over and over cause once you’ve done it then it’s not available anymore until the tangled shore is the flashpoint. I get the poor attempt at a slightly whimsical anecdote on the low drop rates of exotics but op’s post highlights a big problem in the modern world; people tell lies no matter how big or small for the tiniest bit of recognition/feedback/hate/praise. So sad, these people’s parents didn’t love them enough 🤦♂️

Edited by Azhidal: 10/16/2018 5:28:38 AMI've been on a roll lately, been averaging like 2-3 prime engrams a day(play about 2-3 hours a day, so like 1/hour) And in just the last week or so I've gotten 4 exotics; vigilance wing, vesper of radius(I think that's spelt right), contraverse holds, and queen breakers bow. Just keep playing man, they'll come to you when they're ready, some exotics are just shy is all. (Also the Edge Transit meme is pretty funny but I can't tell if people are serious or not, I can't play multiplayer so I don't get to voice chat with other destiny players(or people on Xbox in general), but I've gotten maybe 6-7 tops and most have been from prime engrams, which ain't to bad cause I just hold on to them till I get a better one or need infusion material.) PS: Not doing any sort of farm, actually I tried farming and didn't get squat. I'm just getting the prime engrams while doing missions and bounties. And all my exotics have come from generic trash mobs. Vigilance wing: Thrall on Titan Radius: yellow taken goblin, whisper mission QB-Bow: a vandal in the EDZ Contraverse: dregs on nessus Oh and I forgot two, Prospector: Asher Mir on Io, turning in phase glass needles. And Borealis: from the swarm of taken thralls in the first room of enemies in the whisper mission. So 6 in the last week in a half. Hadn't had any of these before so no duplicates.

Those having issues... are you running 1 character or all 3? I run all three and have had roughly 10-12 exotics drop since Forsaken launched.... my issue is Prime Engrams, I get like 1 a week.

i actually got 1 tonight. first in about 3 weeks. playing Gambit. the other team spawned a taken ogre. i shot it for awhile, then used my newly aquired Titan Missle super. he died and an engram popped out. gravitron lance. one day i will get my first ever Forsaken exotic. but not today.

6 RepliesI had 4 exotic engrams drop Thursday. 2 in blind well, one in a nightfall and one in patrol. Borealis, The Stag, Suros Regime, and something else. Really good day.

Got my first Forsaken exotic just three or four days ago...which happened to be the sword. Then yesterday I miraculously got my second Forsaken exotic...which happened to be the sword. SMDH Bungie and their OP dupe BS...

I have seen 2 exotic engrams each were duplicates the rest I saw were from milestones

They should’ve made it like D1: chance to drop from any boss, but much higher chances to drop from Powerful sources. In D2, that’d translate to Raid bosses, WANTED bounty (the 540 one), Ascendant challenges, and Nightfall. I’m excluding Prime engrams because it just feels...wrong to include them, for some reason.
