I honestly don’t get it.... really. I just want an explanation as to why hunter mains suck :(.
I really feel attacked right now and I don’t appreciate it.
obvious satire
EDIT: Ok so from most of the answers I’ve gotten there just biased to whatever there main is. Also everyone is saying only hunters call for nerfs, which is obvious bullshit. And people just slapping all the annoying stuff to deal with in crucible on hunters; ex. “Running away”, “panic supers”, and “shotgunning”. Those comments actually made me laugh, so thanks for that. Also, I bet that by the next dlc(probably not black armory) if there’s a new powerful hunter exotic or ability it will be called to get nerfed. I mean it’s already happening with Blade Barrage and Nova warp. Another answer was the general play style of hunter is pretty much that they play like “pussies”.
At this point I’ve stopped caring. I’ve seen a few comments that actually used facts to explain to everything, and I agreed with most if not all what they had to say. Welp I’m just happy coming out of this knowing that I don’t blame a class when I lose a gun fight when some of the people here obviously do lol.

1 ReplyIt’s because hunter is clearly overpowered and has always been the strongest class and anyone who plays hunter should be banned.

If you've noticed on these forums. A post asking for warlock or titan buffs usually gets up voted. But when a hunter asks for buffs, that post gets down voted to hell.

44 RepliesHow to Be a Hunter Main 1. NEVER challenge a 1v1 gun fight 2. Always have a teamate to help you shoot unless the other player is afk or isn't looking at you. 3.Your Shotgun is your primary always sit crouched in a corner (invis is a bonus here) also always slide shotgun or dodge shotgun 4. If you ever get shot just dodge and run away because you don't challenge 1v1s. 5. If someone chases you in a tight area remember crouching and jumping with a shotgun are your best friends. Lucky for you Hunters have the best in air accuracy with shotguns. 6. Always panic super if your one shot don't want an extra death if you can just blade Barrage and get 1 free kill. 7. Always cry on the forums for no reason. 8. If you think something is op make sure Bungie knows and cry all over the forums 9. Change your tampon every 3-4 hours. This is why people hate hunters.

People complain about hunters using a panic super Panic bomb and fist of panic from d1 to d2 always around. Hunters running away complaints. Titan skating away from d1 to d2 still see it. Hunters using shotguns. Warlocks can still blink shotgun and let's not forget shoulder charge shotgun with juggernaut shield in d1 for titans now they get the same thing with an exotic pratically.

I love hunters. As long as they don't hate my nova warp
-
4 RepliesHunters just have a cowardice play style. Slide shotgun, quickfang, smoke bomb then turn invisible and run away.

14 RepliesHave you tried using the other classes in crucible? As a warlock main, I dont hate hunters, I just feel that there is an imbalance and pvp is skewed towards them. Which is why hunters are the most used/preffered class in competitive pvp. Hunters have amazing mobility that practically does not even change at lower levels of mobility. They also have great resilience which can make the difference between a 3-4 shot kill. Their recovery isnt anything noticably bad either. Oh and when wormhusk was a thing, having a instant heal button every 20sec...dont get me started on that. Hunters also have the best jump and control while mid air. It honestly feels great using a hunter with that much mobility. With a bit of practice with the supers and abilities, youre set for pvp. And will have much easier time than using other classes. I think I have around a 1.5kd last time I checked (so im not too bad of a warlock). I have to say warlocks just feel too sluggish. Even at high levels of mobility it feels like theres extra gravity or something when compared to hunters. Glide is slow and is the worst jump in game. Not only that, I have to sacrifice resilience to get a mediocre level of mobility. I can only have a high level of one or the other. So I can either be slow and get killed easily or be fast and have low health and get killed easily. Warlocks have recovery, but what use is 2sec faster recovery during a fast ttk gunfight?... Strafe speed and health is whats important and hunters have an abundance of this. Warlock rifts are also not viable in most cases anymore. E.g activating a rift when low health wont counteract the damage with the fast ttk, getting killled everytime. Activation time is also very long and regen is lackluster and slow. Only time rifts are viable now is activating them before getting into a gunfight. So what do hunters have to sacrifice?... Nothing. Its not like they have high mobility and a trade off like low health. They generally have low recovery, but it does not make a difference to high recovery. Everything is already handed to hunters. Yet there are hunters that complain and ask for even more power e.g. one hit kill abilities. This is where I believe the hate comes in. You will simply have a higher survivability being a hunter in crucible because of those stats/abilities. Consequently, also an edge and easier time in the crucible over titans and warlocks. Using hunter is like playing the pvp on easy crutch mode. And this is why its the most used class.

Asher Mir went to Piramidion with two Hunters. Return without hand. I went to Piramidion with Titan and Warlock and stood in one piece.=) Well, honestly, I think it's not about class itself. I played hunter and he cool. Void hunt in my Fireteam just brilliant. But there are special type of toxic and stupid people, who always play as Hunters (this class for bad guys, they think). So hunters itself are nice as any others. But this "special" people who always main hunter do all this bad reputation on them.

8 RepliesSo here's the skinny on the D2 situation. When D2 launched, everybody sucked. Hard. Hunters just happened to suck a little bit less than Titans and Warlocks. And so Hunters became the definite "crutch" class due to how badly everything else sucked. This was made even more apparent when Hunters were given good exotics. Few existed, but the ones that did were diamonds in the rough. Over the course of the first year, Bungie very, very, very slowly applied a series of buffs to all classes to bring them closer to their former glory. Now, we're still not quite as powerful as we should be, but we're much closer. There's still a lot of specific issues that need addressed, but the sandbox itself at least is fairly balanced. Hunters feel slighted because they didn't get as much in terms of buffs as Warlocks and Titans. That's because they didn't have as much ground to make up. This adds to the rift that's already been growing between classes. Some people don't understand the concept of buffs. They really only understand bringing things down. That's how the whole "nerf Hunters" thing started. But it never was about nerfs. It's always been about buffs. Some people can only see their own shortcomings and demand action for them, not concerned about the other classes. But really we're all one big fireteam with different roles to play. And as such we need everyone to be as powerful as possible.

2 RepliesI got nothing against hunters but when an lfg says only hunters and titans i get just a bit sad
-
5 RepliesPeople get mad that they lose to hunters even tho the hunter is the worst class overall for PvP
-
2 RepliesMainly from D1....as Hunters got nerfs here and there sure....but Warlocks and Titans got hit hard.....and people like to think it was Hunter mains that moaned for nerfs.
-
Gaslighting. Titans and Warlocks know how good they have it, and they know hunter being so weak makes their classes look that much in need of a nerf. So instead of acting like another class should be brought up to par, they form a vocal minority and try to make it look like that class is actually SUPER OP even though it's working with the shoddiest tool kit. And the sad thing is, they're dependant on their op toolkit, so they still lose, and they use that to validate their own lies, causing a cycle of delusion.

19 RepliesEdited by Athos SD: 10/14/2018 4:32:45 AMHunter derangement = playing nothing but Hunter for 4+ years and still feels the need to CRY nerf and buffs for their class only.

2 RepliesBecause most of the people who are really super-sweaty, PVP Tryhards are Hunters. ...and instead of arguing for a balanced sandbox, they're (as a group) are constantly whining that Hunters are underpowered in PVP, and arguing for the game to be broken in THEIR favor. Like the whole situation right now with Nova Warp. This is the first decent super----by Destiny 1 standards----that Warlocks have been given. ...and already whiny Hunters are trying to get it broken. Because Warlocks have now been brought up (in PVP) to the level of power that they used to have in Destiny 1...and that Hunters and Titans have been enjoying for the last year.

Apparently everyone is classist. There's nothing wrong with maining any of the classes, despite what the losers and trolls that live in their moms basement will tell you.
-
Warlocks and Titans are just mad their class items suck. Warlocks get a sucky arm bad, Titans get a towel, but Hunters get a cool cloak
Satire posts are fun
hunters had a full year of easy mode
-
1 ReplyBecause 70% of players are hunters (the other 29% are titans, they are 2nd on the hate list). Change my mind.
-
I like how the other classes complain about blade barrage when they have their own panic super and had them 4 years longer. In D1, fist of panic was obnoxious, near instant with ridiculous range. A "ground slam" that hits players even if they jump high above the super. If I had a dollar for everytime i saw a titan make a beeline towards me with fist of panic in tow and not make an effort to hide their intentions, I'd be uber rich.

Everybody hates Hunters cuz of D1. Me too

3 RepliesIt's the gaming equivalent of penis envy ;) All the idiots that picked Warlock or Titan mains realizing they aren't the best at making decisions. In life or online. Ignore it all, it's comparable to two 5 year olds arguing whose mummy is the best.
-
Because they tried it and sucked at it. Back in their safe space they see somebody kicking their ass with a hunter and realise the skill gap needed so they cry wolf.
-
Because they’re classist.
