We spent all that time in D1 watching things improve. At the end of it all, Age of Triumph saw Destiny in it's best place so far. Then all of a sudden, D2 came out and completely forgot what Destiny is. All that progress thrown away for loot and endgame based around micro transactions and "balance". And now they are "attempting" to make the game better, but everything they do, it almost feels like telling a toddler to pick up their toys. You practically have to force them, and in the end, they are not doing it because they want to. The entire team seems like they don't want to do anything about the game anymore. Bungie doesn't really care. They got their 8 million purchases and now they leave us out here to wither away. It freaking sucks.
