I understand why you are supporting such an OP gun. Its always the "its fun when its not happening to you" situation. Casuals and below average pvp players thinking they finally stand a chance when its a clear and undeniable landslide that this weapon is too good. Denying it is ignorant when the facts about the gun are clearly in front of you. So lets wait a few moths or keep it like you request, and RNG starts placing it in the hands of REAL players. Heres were we revert back to that "its fun when its not happening to you" because now it is. Its the same as solo queueing in the crucible, if you solo you understand and comply with the fact you may get matched against a god team. If you leave the gun in the current state, you understand and comply to getting wrecked by these 2.0+ players who will turn that gun into every casuals nightmare. Think you were only playing a little crucible? Well your about to not want to play any. I see the frustration among skilled players with this gun. Its like being told no matter how good you are at your job that raises are only handed out through raffle. Its a clear RNG advantage that takes the game out of the players hands and into the hands of luck for it to drop. The lens needs to be in check with its competition for any sort of competitiveness to be displayed. If casuals weren't already complaining about the meta, its about to get worse when the meta is one and only one gun.
And I get it, its fun to have something that can give you the god feeling but playing devils advocate here for the long term of crucible and the community in mind, this gun will drive people away from crucible and possibly the game until they obtain it. I just dont support luck advantages over skill coming from a very competitive personality lol.
Thanks for reading, let me know your thoughts
Edit: fix for pvp, leave it in its current state for pve

8 RepliesEdited by Ant Heuser Kush: 12/7/2017 6:58:06 PMThe gun doesn't make you a god. The weapon is only fun because it's bugged. Using the weapon changes up the meta... so I when I go up against a stacked team using all Midas and Last Hopes, it's fun. When I go up against Uriel's Gifts users, it's fun. When someone on the other team has one and I die by it, it's fun. I haven't laughed so hard in PvP since Vanilla D1. Call me a scrub, check my k/d, tell me to git gud, whatever. I'm still going to use whatever weapon I like. I'm going to use what makes the game fun for me, not fun for you.

Its fun to use and fun to go up against no matter whos using it. Its refreshing to finally be rid of the only strat right now of team shooting everything. It allows for aggressive play while still being careful not to be dropped by someone else with it. Bullet spongy pvp is lame and should never be a thing.

<No, let chaos rain. Let it break into absolute anarchy. BRING US THE D2 MYTHOCLAST!!>

A giant isopod is any of the almost 20 species of large isopods (crustaceans distantly related to shrimp and crabs, which are decapods) in the genus Bathynomus. They are abundant in cold, deep waters of the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans. Bathynomus Giganteus, the species upon which the generitype is based, is often considered the largest isopod in the world, though other comparably poorly known species of Bathynomus may reach a similar size (e.g., B. kensleyi). The giant isopods are noted for their resemblance to the much smaller common woodlouse (pill bug), to which they are related.

13 RepliesSame crying happened for the Vex Mythoclast... remember what happened? Instead of developing TTPs to counter the threat, the weapon was neutered.
-
Is this gun even good in PvE? I didn't buy DLC so I have no idea, just seen PvP footage.
-
The real question is will anyone want to use it afterwards.
-
3 RepliesWelp, according to Deej's tweet, it was an unintended bug that will be fixed soon. As long as the upcoming "fix" doesn't ruin the weapon in PvE, I suppose.
-
4 RepliesThe first exotic that feels exotic and worth chasing and part of the crybaby community once again complains. Let me guess, you can't use the two most overused weapons in PVP anymore and don't like getting owned now.
-
8 RepliesOr they're using a weapon that can finally go toe to toe with the cowardly butt humping meta that plagues pvp.
-
Incoming super nerf...
...for fusion rifles. ;)
-
5 RepliesIt shouldn't be "fixed", it's where it should be. It feels the way exotics should feel. All weapons need a buff, at least all exotics. Up until this point the only reason to use an exotic over a legendary was to have third eye from the Mida. I understand you saying that if you don't have it then life sucks but imagine for a moment that other guns got a buff and you could actually play PVP and take out a whole team by yourself if you played smart. Instead of playing this team shoot Mida meta only.

11 RepliesWhat Bungie should do: Nerf it for PvP to scale with other Exotics, don't touch it in PvE. What they will do: Nerf it to the ground for all game types.
-
2 RepliesWe should all keep a list of everyone demanding it not be nerfed, and then start a forum pool to see which one has a really shitty game and runs here first demanding a nerf. LMAO - that sounds like more fun to me than actually playing this turd of a game.
-
1 ReplyI just don't want it nerfed for pve.
-
11 RepliesThe issue isnt the gun itself.. there are a couple of issues.. 1. its an exotic so to be that strong is unfair due to RNG (not complaining, speaking in general) 2. it has to be semi even to other guns, or be a power weapon with less ammo 3. its completely caught the crucible off guard and would ruin trials this way to be honest.. which is their bread and butter no matter how bad it is 4. only scrubs who need to raise their KD badly are supporting it right now

I support your last comment: Edit: fix for pvp, leave it in its current state for pve
The FitnessGram™ Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly, but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal. [beep] A single lap should be completed each time you hear this sound. [ding] Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark, get ready, start.
2 RepliesBrace yourselves, the barrage of Nerf Missiles is coming for us all. God have mercy on your souls, gentlemen.

1 ReplyF pvp! I’m glad that gun is pissing all of you off? Pvp ruined the pve side of the game!!!
-
It needs to get fixed fast, if you dont have it now its pointless to even try crucible as atleast 2 + on enemy team is rocking it. Im not going back until its fixed or I get it myself. If they cant fix it fast, Xur should sell it tomorrow because it basicly locks you out of content.
-
1 ReplyI support that it should be fixed... for pvp only. But leave it the way it is for PVE. This will satisfy everyone. PvE players knows that they need a OP exotics to help kill yellow bar enemies.

15 RepliesLook at the facts... The reason people are salty has to do with campers, waiting for you to walk around the corner. It happens in every game, and it should. We are talking about walking into an area where the barrel is pointed at you already. Having less constricted maps, makes this go away. It's not the guns. We are effectively playing SLAPJACK, And reaction time is where the battles are won and lost. For the rest of the encounters, including fair fights 1v1, The more powerful weapon, that lands its shots, wins, faster. Making all the weapons work as well as Prometheus does, seems like the logical thing to do, but it would take "Effort", and Bungie has been making it look like they are allergic to Effort.
