Quite correct and the more they try and make a game for everyone, the more the make a game that no-one wants to play. I have to believe that there is someone out there, preferably non-american as they seem to wreck everything they touch, that realises that niche games make more money long-term than games with a "no child left behind" policy that get dumbed down for the lowest common denominator and end up losing money so decide to go down the p2w path. Frankly the disappointment that D2 is has left me cold as far as Bungie is concerned. My friends and I were so excited leading up to go live, none of them are playing it anymore and so soon after it went live too.
