I'm putting a lot of faith in this game. Hope it delivers.

I pre-ordered it because I had a tonne of fun playing it during the closed beta, but the open beta has had sooo many connection issues I'm rethinking whether it was the right decision granted it's still a beta so that's to be expected but come on the game comes out in a couple of days how much could they fix in that time? I am still really excited for the campaign though.

6 RepliesWhy not wait for reviews and state of game 2-3 months in?
-
Still shouldn't have pre-ordered my eyes have only recently been opened to the evils of doing so.
-
6 RepliesI'm already having flashbacks of the Division, odds are this will be a repeat
-
5 RepliesI will never understand why people still pre-order games from EA, Ubisoft or Activision. Do people not learn from the past?
-
2 RepliesYou should've waited til the open beta to make a decision.

3 RepliesIf you're not sure about the game meeting your expectations then why pre-order?

8 RepliesDon't listen to the pitchfork wielding and tinfoil hat wearing part of this illustrious gaming community, if you want to preorder you go right ahead. Most people who demonize the practice of preordering are the same people who think that all DLC is cut content that is simply an attempt by developers/publishers to stick their hands back in your honey pot, so if I were you I'd just let them keep yelling that the world is ending from the street corner and you do you. When it comes to preorders my only piece of advice is that you make a well informed decision (if you haven't had hands on time with the game) and don't simply rely on faith. Watch gameplay footage, read articles, and get a general consensus of the title in question. I've personally never been burned by a preorder but I also know what I do and don't like in a game. Plus I've never gone in blind. In any event I hope you enjoy the game, I know I'll be enjoying the hell out of my preorder of For Honor!

Theres going to be an open beta if your on the fence. Personally I think the game is really fun and challenging.

See I didn't mind the beta but couldn't see myself putting much time into the MP so the Campaign would be what makes the sale for me. Unfortunately there's not a lot out about the campaign as they seem to be selling the game on its MP.
-
did you play the closed beta?
-
I preordered my copy as well but I made sure to take every opportunity possible to gather information on it before I finalized my decision. I have no doubt that I'm going to enjoy the game so no buyers remorse here.
-
Try the open beta which spans from the 9th to the 12th to see if you like it
-
5 Replies"Gee wiz I hope it's not another Division." Considering it has the exact same dlc plan as Siege this game will do fine. It has the skill gap Siege brought, and the match variety that will make it feel dynamic
-
I was going to buy they changed something with the internet connection from the alpha and I am always given strict nat type and I do not want to go through all that trouble for one game.

Pre ordering should be a banned business practice Not very pro consumer

2 RepliesHonestly i like the heroes and the customization in Ubisoft games. I just hope the combat lives up to iy.
-
29 RepliesEw. Preorders are gross and bad for the market.
-
2 RepliesPreorders are bad when you haven't played the game, and it's still largely unknown. I plan on playing the open beta, and if I enjoy it, I'll preorder it after I have played it.
