Im enjoying it mire than ever now. Ive learned where the sniper lanes are and for the most part dont get sniped too often. I use a sidearm and either a legendary auto pulse scout or hand cannon and i do ok. Yes snipers and shotties can be far better than primaries but wuth the old meta people used to camp with primaries too. At least there is less special ammo around now, though still too much in 3s. I always try to take as much special ammo as possible hust to stop thr other team having it.
