If you preorder Rise of Iron from Gamestop for the Xbox, be aware you may not get the Iron Gjallarhorn

It basically means that you're buying Xbox currency and not the download itself, meaning that you [i]might[/i] have missed the "Pre-Order". If you do have to Pre-Order from GameStop for any reason, ask them specifically about the Iron Gjallarhorn bonus and if it comes with another specific code, if there isn't one, that's a red flag.

1 ReplyOkay so i have a question about the GameStop B.S. that's going on. I drove to the GameStop, pre ordered it at the GameStop, they gave me a receipt but it didn't say the "Price Shown..." Thing that you posted about. So when I go to the GameStop tomorrow, hand them the receipt, they give me the code, will I get the Iron Gjallarhorn and GjallarWing? Just wondering since what you mentioned wasn't mentioned on my receipt.

8 RepliesALRIGHT SO MINE DID SOMETHING WEIRD so I bought the pre-order, Xbox one, but what was weird was that they gave me two separate codes, one for the sparrow, one for the gjallerhorn, and it gave me the money for the dlc purchase, no problemo, right? K well I went in to purchase the dlc, and I took everyone's advice and just searched "destiny rise of iron," I got to the two options, and selected the straight dlc, BUT IT SAYS IT ISNT AVAILABLE FOR PURCAHSE YET. and of course I'm not gonna buy the bundle. Am I just dumb or is something wrong? What should I do?

1 ReplyOkay to everyone who is also having trouble with this wonderful bull GameStop and Microsoft have so wonderfully prepared for us i think i have a fix i have no idea it they will fix this on their own or make it worse but here goes nothing if you pre-ordered Rise of Iron from GameStop SURPRISE they don't sell Microsoft dlc just Microsoft credit now what do you you do with this credt you may ask well normally you go to the marketplace and go to add-ons but SURPRISE again Microsoft removed the dlc option only leaving a bundle that costs $60 and you only have $30 credit from GameStop but if you go to the marketplace and use the search-bar enter destiny rise of iron and there should be 2 options the one on the right is the $60 bundle and the one on the left is the $30 update so act fast before this gets even more messed up P.S. i typed this in a hurry please excuse all my grammatical mistake I surely made in my haste

6 RepliesSo I got my code from Gamestop to redeem my pre-order. Didn't see this thread or anything about it being a code just for xbox currency... When I logged into XBox Live I seemed to have gotten a $30 credit. The email from Gamestop tells me to search for the game and confirm the purchase, but I don't see purchase or download for the preorder on XBox Live. Anyone have any luck with this?

As long as you pre order the roi before it's release you get the iron gally. Doesn't matter how you buy it. Just as long as you buy it before it comes out.

29 RepliesNike you know better than to preorder. 73 days until ROI. Let's give our money to the Developer now? How about we wait until Sept. 19 then purchase ROI? Perhaps then we as gamers might send a "subtle" message. Removing original content only to sell it back to the players as DLC is not cool. By holding onto your money and not preordering you're making a statement. IMO.
